Amazing clarity
Love the shiurim! Long time listener! Always coming with clear halacha sources. Never afraid to take on hot button issues! Very interesting someone would leave a negative review because he disagrees with a show. Zionism is a very gray area. At best it’s a agadditah gemarah, as clearly explained in the show with world class talmidey chachamim. Very suprised somone would be עובר the issue of לשון הרע that is אסור מדאורייתא because of his opinion in a very gray area.

Don’t knock Gedolim (even from Baltimore)
I appreciate your open minded discussions and enjoy the content, but making light of Gedolim and using Baltimore as an excuse is low and unnecessary.

Review reaction
I just downloaded and am listening for the first time. I find the content to be both intelligent and engaging. But as I read the other reviews, I was most compelled by negative reviewers blasting the contributors for being “archaic”, “close-minded”, or “pro Rav Shach”. That’s when I knew that this is the podcast for me! Congratulations on finding the right perspectives to disagree with!

Wow someone acutely is MeKeihm Loi Soguru
For a change a breath of fresh air. How he has no fear to bring up important things that all the corrupted powerful so called Dass Torah’s, crushed anyone that try to speak up, is amazing. May Hashem give you health and Nachas

Very Well Done
A compressive eclectic but traditional and insightful commentary. However, narrator should be clearer speaking and further from microphone.

Excellent
Nice to hear a variety of voices from theOrthodox world. Good mix of Halacha and Agadah.

Very open minded
Rabbi Lichtenstein always takes the other side by an interview which forces the one being interviewed to really explain his opinion. I just want to comment on the interview about the differences between the Rebbe and shach. There is no disagreement between them, shach doesn't have a say about the Rebbe. He is nothing more than dust on the earth. The Rebbe is the giant of this generation. The Rebbe is one of the greatest leaders of all time. Shach is nothing but a hater and instigator of fights in the Jewish community. Not just Chabad, also between Chasidim in general and lavishes. Between Orthodox Jews and none-orthodox Jews. His opinions about the Rebbe don't need to be addressed because they are null and void. They come not from a place of truth and godliness but from jealousy and hatred. The Rebbe existence is nothing but truth and Torah. But besides that, the podcast is great! I'm a big fan.

Very good, but episode with lederman is disgusting
The last episode featuring lederman is embarrassing. The Lubavitcher rebbe is one of the free tase leaders of our time. Shach was one of the most bitter and fight instigating people of all time. Lederman should ask forgiveness. Other than that headlines is a fabulous show

Mixed emotions
David is certainly well intentioned. His bravery in broaching not oft discussed topics is wonderful. His consistent interruption of his guests makes listening to some podcasts a jarring and cringeworthy experience, and he definitely has a clear agenda in each of his episodes. Some of his guests are astonishingly closed minded, uneducated, and possessing of archaic views (rabbis prominent in this group), while others are educated, well spoken, and accurate (Ben Shapiro, Elisheva Liss etc.). I listen to parts of the podcast on a case by case basis, depending on the guest. I really appreciate the notation of the times at which specific guests begin speaking during the show, in each episode’s synopsis.

Shining a light behind the stone
David is not afraid to tackle taboo and controversial topics for the benefit of the observant Jewish community. He brings on a wide array of guests from across the orthodox world and is prepared to press them for practical answers/advice. The sound quality leaves some room for improvement and the program length challenges efficient consumption, but otherwise an excellent program on
Thegoodspy
honestly explores many major communal questions
The host loves fellow Jews but is not afraid to look realistically and debate the most controversial cultural and moral issues facing Torah Jewry. Not saying you must agree; but the spectrum of opinion that is represented is undeniably fair.

In depth and thought provoking
I really enjoy the variety of perspectives represented from around the Torah world. The host also is great at drawing out the nuances of each inyan with his guests. While machmir opinions are represented I really feel that the host has a heart towards chessed and attempting to find the basic halachos which are accessible by your average person.

Terrible
This guy needs to learn how to interview people with out being rude to and interrupting his guests. I just listened to the interview with Del Bigtree, Del couldn’t get a word in or make a point without being interrupted.

If Dr Zucker is the number one pediatrician
In NY, then Gd help NY! Seriously, the guy couldn’t answer one question, not one! He said doesn’t actually look at the studies, just the conclusion but you act like he’s so knowledgeable. Please, do yourself a favor and talk to Dr. Palevsky in NY. He actually went above and beyond to research everything after seeing his patients being harmed.
Navahtbarr123 @snapchat
one star for effort, minus four for relentless interruption of his guest with an opposing view
David didn't allow Del to complete any of his rebuttals or statements. David questions all of the things the government approves, such as poisons injected into the cattle we eat, and the herbicides that are sprayed on our veg and fruit, but he refuses to question vaccines. Why? Because David has dipped his toe in just enough into the vaccine issue to gather some stats, but not enough to actually learn the facts that he prevented Del from sharing. He spent a lot of time asking why Del contradicts many 'reputable' journals and medical professionals. We already KNOW Del contradicts them -- so why not find out WHY Del contradicts them? Why not let Del share his information!!?? yes, it often makes sense to trust those who have studied the issues..but unfortunately the medical doctors you keep referring to HAVEN'T studied it! ask them and they will tell you that in medical school they are not taught what is in the vaccines, how they actually work, or even much about immunology! Furthermore, medical doctors aren't trained any more than the general person, in all of the areas needed to expertly read a study...studies which are conducted often by PhDs and professionals who are NOT seeing patients. but that doesn't mean that one CAN'T read a medical journal and a medical study and understand it....they will just have to expend a lot of effort to do so. just becuase you're a parent, doesn't mean you don't have the brains to read a study if they are determined to do so. i don't think doctors have the time to read studies. i think that's why they repeat what they are told./..vaccines are safe, effective, on and on. David did not continuously interrupt his other guests. He actually allowed them to complete sentences, paragraphs and share their information. People call this an unbiased inquiry into this issue? The only saving grace was that around the 2-hour mark, he asked one of his pro-vaccination guests if he is concerned by the fact that the government, nor anyone has conducted a post-surveillance study of the health outcomes of vaccinated vs. unvaccinated children. His guest naively said that the NIH or other government agency has done some kind of study like that....no....they haven't...in fact, the NIH has flatly REFUSED to do this kind of study. there has only been one study of this kind....and everyone dismisses it, saying it was 'not large enough' to matter - it is the Mawson Study of 2017. That study found more than 30 times more frequency of allergy in vaccinated children, 4.8 times more autism in vaccinated children...on and on. and yes, the scientists on the vaccine risk awareness side are many…i’m sure Del can give you a list of their studies if you allowed him to! and Please watch “One Conversation” which wasn’t hosted by Del, but which he participated in….but the pro-vaccine debaters cancelled last-minute….however, it is still very informative and you will learn a lot! When you get a vaccine like the measles, the virus replicates in the body several times. This produces TEMPORARY 'immunity', which is sort of an oxymoron of course, in the context of how we regard 'immunity' in the world of infectious disease and vaccines. When you actually get and survive the measles infection, you develop REAL, LIFELONG immunity. The immunity from the vaccine wanes after a few years. And the CDC knows that boosters don't really work, which is why they don't recommend getting any more than two MMR shots. THAT is why there are measles outbreaks. because people over the age of 10 no longer have any immunity, as the temporary immunity has disappeared. please do a show where you actually let Del BigTree speak. I'd like you to learn about the Stipulation that the HHS recently signed, admitting that they've initiated zero vaccine safety science since 1986, when they were mandated to do so by the 1986 Vaccine Injury Act, passed by Congress.

Why edit? Bullying
Although I don’t think you deserve 2 stars for this interview I am going to give you props for having Del Bigtree on. You seemed intent on only derailing the important information brought to you. You didn't seem curious - just talking over him using a script to badger the listeners with nonsense. It almost seemed as if you were afraid to let the listeners think for themselves. You actually proved his by cutting the interview short. There was no reason to cut Del's part of the debate, you should have cut out one of the others and made 2 part interview to continue your "fear and emotional" push for mandated vaccination and pharma propaganda.

Intent on truth
The Rabbi guests are a joke
While Lichtenstein does a decent job of playing devil’s advocate, his rabbi guests are terrible in presenting their positions. It was exhausting to listen the logical inconsistencies in the arguments put forth by Rabbi Kaplan from Toronto. If Lichtenstein wants to have an intelligent conversation, then his guests should have some level of expertise in the subject matter and not simply navel gaze. Rabbi Kaplan had nothing to offer that you wouldn’t hear from any silly rebbe in a yeshiva who dresses up their own misconceptions as Daas Torah. Same for the Kollel Fellow from Florida who was less informative than a quick google search and less articulate than a mildly intelligent high school graduate

David Lichtenstein is a very honest spokesperson for controversial issues .

Great podcast
Dovid Lichtenstein tackles important, timely topics, brings in great guests and asks them the tough questions.
DanL34b
Excellent interviewer. Pushes around his guests in an excellent way.
But some of the guests aren't so fabulous. Generally, D. Lichtenstein represents the yeshivish velt at its best.

A truly great show!
