The Hawks finished their season with a tremendous victory against the university of Kentucky Wildcats by a score of 21-0. Cooper DeJean collected MVP honors as the Iowa defense not only pitched a shutout but scored 2 defensive touchdowns in the game.

The Hawks look to avenge last season's VRBO Citrus Bowl loss to the Kentucky Wildcats in this year's TransPerfect Music City Bowl. The Hawks bring in their stingy defense and a 1st time starter in Joey Labas to take down the depleted Kentucky team.

Now that the regular season is over, we have the waiting game to see where the Hawks will land for their bowl game.

What started as a promising day didn't turn out quite that way for the Hawkeyes were hoping as they fell to the Nebraska Cornhuskers 24-17 and the Hawks looked off right from the start as Alex Padilla had to relieve an injured Spencer Petras.

With Senior Day, the Heartland Trophy & the Big Ten West Championship all on the line Friday, the Hawks look to complete the goals set before the season and all is in sight.

Hawk fans have endured ups & downs throughout this season but they find their team in a position to win the Big Ten west after a 4 game win streak!

With 2 games left, Saturday's matchup will be key for the Hawkeye's fight for Big Ten west supremacy!

With both of these teams having 5-4 records, this year's battle for the Heartland trophy. Both teams are coming off of wins and riding a winning streak so it will be a very intriguing matchup when the Badgers travel to Iowa City to take on the Hawks at Kinnick stadium on Duke Slater field!
