Over 72 years, Waverly Hills stood watch over the agonizing suffering of  Tuberculosis patients and later, neglected dementia patients. This site  was the location of over 6,000 deaths during its time as a Tuberculosis  Sanatorium and even more trauma during its 20 years as a nursing home  until the state shut it down for good.
