HEY Y'ALL!! This episode we tried something NEW! Besides the fact that it's Halloween in the set is covered in decorations, we wanted this episode to feel light and fun! Relationships don't need to be so serious all the time, it's important that you feel comfortable and remember to have fun with your partner. We stayed on theme with Halloween, sharing some near death experiences, ghost stories and other dark things.. Even though we're keeping it light and fun buckle up for the scary stories because we're not gonna lie they're wild. And they're all true!! We're also drinking some witches brew (Vodka, Raspberry Puree, Lemoande, Squirt and Triple Sec) and trust us, the potion is SKRONG. Y'alllll!!  Right before we left for Europe for a month we recorded a podcast episode and it spun into a heated disagreement, a fight if you will, about us not getting engaged. It's was our 7 year anniversary and we were gonna be in Paris.  PARIS Y'ALL!!  So, of course Aja thought we were gonna engaged (because anniversay in paris + girl math = Duh, Engagement!) plus Grant was sending her some mixed messages AND TBH Aja was sending mixed messages to Grant. That episode got a little out of control so instead we decide to do a reacts to watching pieces of that episode back, acknowledging both our feelinsg being hurt, speaking about our disappointment, analyzing our actions, talking about them and critiquing ourselves.We  thought it was important to share pieces of this fight to show that people in relationships go thru real conflict and that's okay as long as your able to take accountability for your actions on the back end and modify them on going forward. We're not perfect and even after 7 years we still tryna figure things out. So here's this episode of us working thru our sh*t. Things had been a little rocky for us lately. A while ago, we recorded an unreleased episode that turned from a conversation into a huge argument. Watching that fight that gave us both a lot of perspective on how to listen to one another. Especially, Aja who learned a lot about her own arguments style and how thats influenced by her fears and insecurities. We posted a clip and our comments EXPLODED with people DRAGGGINGGGGGG US. Telling us to break up and for Grant to leave because "She'll do you like Jada did will." Or that Aja is toxic, selfish and for the streets. Some pretty intense stuff went on.  But it also gave us some perspective. So this episode is partially dedicated to our recent experience with the commenters on the internet. P.S we recorded this before things really got BAD. After our first ep, which was extremely emotional, we needed a break to talk about something more lighthearted, a debate on keeping items from past crushes/relationships and sharing DM messages.
