We are BACK with the annual 2022 Halifax real estate market review with Richard Payne. We break down what it was like at the peak of the Halifax real estate market in the first quarter of 2022. When the average sales price grew to be more than $600,000 in Halifax, and when any single family dwelling was receiving over 30 offers to purchase that home. The impact inflation and rising interest rates had on buyers purchasing power, and the cooling effect that mortgage rates had on the market as a whole. What we're seeing now in the market with the average price point dipping below $500,000, and what we're seeing going into 2023.
