Life Changing Tips
At 37 years old, my therapist recently suggested he thinks I might have ADHD. I have an evaluation scheduled for September, but I thought I’d get ahead and start researching ADHD resources before getting a diagnosis. This way, I can begin implementing tools I’ve learned right away. This podcast is easily my favorite of all the ADHD resources I have found. The episodes are short, have actionable tips (despite my immense struggle with initiating new things), and William has such a calm and friendly demeanor. I’ve gotten through his first year of episodes in a little under a month, and look forward to catching up to new releases soon!

This Podcast Helped Me Stop Fighting My Brain
The latest episode, “You Don’t Need to Earn Your Rest,” is outstanding. It reframed something I have struggled with for years and did so in a way that was practical, compassionate, and immediately applicable. It wasn’t just validating; it was grounding, and it changed how I think about productivity and burnout in real time.
What really sets this podcast apart, though, is its consistency. Every single episode I’ve listened to has given me something useful: a new perspective, a strategy I can actually implement, or language that finally puts words to experiences I couldn’t explain before. The host does an excellent job of breaking down complex ADHD concepts without talking down to the listener, and the tone is supportive rather than preachy or gimmicky.
If you have ADHD (or love someone who does) and are tired of advice that assumes willpower is the problem, this podcast is a breath of fresh air. It’s thoughtful, accessible, and genuinely helpful and it keeps getting better.

Helpful, Eye-Opening, Inspiring
I was diagnosed with ADHD combined-type at the age of 25 in February 2025. I struggled with my self-identity after I was diagnosed, because I only knew the stereotypical symptoms of ADHD that I didn’t have.
After figuring out that I didn’t have a clear direction of how to work with my ADHD instead of against it, I decided to give this podcast a try (the cover had pretty colors on it).
I find the guests, tips, and peer-reviewed research very insightful and often find myself saying “I do that!” without knowing that it was an ADHD symptom.
I have found this podcast truly insightful and helpful when managing my own symptoms.
If I find something that I think my family and friends (who are a mix of undiagnosed and diagnosed ADHD), I send episodes to them.
One thing I find incredibly helpful is the bullet points of what was talked about after each episode. During the episode, I’m thinking, “I should write that down,” or, “I want to try that!” But have figured out that I have the working memory of a goldfish. Will’s bullet points are wonderful and I often find myself writing them down to try.
The little things, like writing a user manual, have been helpful. Even the tips that explain I don’t have to change the things that are already working. For example, using accommodations I have been doing before I was diagnosed (like connecting my Canvas calendar to my personal calendar so I have all my appointments and due dates in one place; putting my keys on a hook by the door; and using tennis shoes that are designated as “inside-only shoes” to tell myself that it is chore-time), have been resounding.
I also enjoy listening to people with ADHD from all different backgrounds, especially women of all ages that have also been diagnosed late.
I really enjoy this podcast and am excited to be a long-term listener (or as long as my hyper focus allows it).

I Got Real Lucky
I’ve never been a podcast person but I knew I needed to manage my ADHD differently, so I looked up podcasts to try something new. I found this one first, and loved it. I went to explore other ADHD podcasts and I can’t put my finger on it, but this podcast is supreme in every way.
Thank you for doing this William! It’s helping me so much!

The editing of this pod has been on the decline. I always think it’s my device or cellular connection causing skips but it’s just sloppy editing.

Smart, Focused, Helpful
I’ve listened to a lot of ADHD podcasts, watched videos, read books and beyond as a late diagnosed ADHDer but your podcast stands out at the top even after listening to just a few episodes. Not sure exactly why but I think your content is incredibly timely, relevant, factual, helpful AND engaging. You’re hitting all the right notes. Thank you!

I really liked this guest, but geez, he might want to learn to say “like” less. It was very distracting to the info he was presenting.

Thank you so much!
This has been an absolute lifeline for myself as a mid-30s diagnosis, who has absolutely been floundering in life. I’ve only been listening for a short while but this has already been a huge help (both as a reassurance that I’m not the only one who has these issues, but to also have advice to build better habits and thought processes). Please know you’re doing fantastic work! Thanks again.

Thanks
With my late diagnosis it’s been so helpful making sense of the things I’ve done and great tools moving forward!

It’s garbage day already?
William Curb, you have a new fan! Me :) I was listening to your 1/6/25 podcast about making one’s smart phone more friendly … when you spoke about setting a reminder to take out the garbage I jumped up laughing! Too late today but reminder and new APP Alarmed has ‘nag me’ clicked✅
Look forward to listening to all your Podcasts and sharing it with fellow ADHD’rs! It’s full of pertinent info and your voice is easy going and not on hyper speed, thank you!!

I listen to this podcast at the beginning of every day to get in the right mindset. My favorite part about this podcast is they are short and sweet, to the point. Also, majority of tools can be implemented immediately which can be very rewarding.

You speak my language
I understand exactly what you are saying and it’s my style of communication. Brief intro of what to expect, then dive in and leave room for thought, explaining everything you’re talking about, reminders to be kind to myself, and concluding with bullet points and where to find notes from each show. This is a gift.

I have my life back…
I was diagnosed a year ago at the age of 21 with combined type ADHD. No one in my immediate family has ADHD (diagnosed at least) so this means a ton of navigating on my own. I found hacking your ADHD by randomly searching one day and I say this with confidence that I have my life back. I no longer feel alone in this and I realized that I’m not stupid or not smart as other people I just have a unique way of processing information!! This podcast has helped me SO SO much and I listen multiple times each week. After learning tips from this podcast I’m not managing my finances better, maintaining healthier relationships, and becoming an advocate for my ADHD and fighting against my own stereotypes and negative self talk. THANK YOU!!!

TY!! The best of the BENEFICIAL BEST!
Out of all the many podcasts regarding ADHD with ADULTS, (not only those diagnosed later in life, unlike myself at age 14-16), yours has been honestly life changing. LIFE CHANGING. I appreciate you and all the guests you carefully select. You hear this often..I am sure about that. However please hear it again. Continue all you do. No need to further too much to spread yourself either. Bc this right here does wonders. I thank you. Also- as you know, a lot of other variable go into selection of a chosen podcast. One being the actual host of course. Their voice humor intelligence and most importantly there ability to realistically RELATE. You often demonstrate that by your selection in episodes but more so in your ‘perfect’ responses and answers to all those you have on your episode “interviewing” in convo. That I’m so appreciative of as it’s extremely beneficial. It prevents disinterest and allows one to stay with you as your words usually are exactly what I am thinking at that moment (after a guest speaks etc.) Well hope this ramble like thanks reaches you. All my continued love!! Kimberly

Update: thanks for recognizing and being accountable
Update: I’m impressed that you listened to feedback and immediately changed course, thank you.
Great but you really lost me on this last episode where the guest compares inflation in the gut to undocumented immigrants. Maybe try to get guests who don’t have the bottomline of selling a product or idea to our community.

Favorite Podcast!
This is my all time favorite podcast. I recently discovered I have ADHD and prior to my diagnoses I found this podcast to be incredibly cathartic! Especially the creativity episode with Saman Kesh! I love that these shows are relatively short too and that William summarizes the learnings at the end. He really understands his audience ;) I get a kick out of the dad joke too. I’m still a hot mess express but I’m slowly figuring it all out thanks to people like William!

Thanks for being my oasis
My ADHD only came to light in my mid-fifties. I felt such relief finding a community that gets my weird. This podcast has been incredibly helpful in learning to function the way MY brain wants, instead of failing repeatedly to function the way our larger society expects. Thanks for the life lessons

Really appreciate this show
After getting suspicious that I might have ADHD as an adult, I started looking for podcasts that might help me cope with this news. I’ve really appreciated how relatable the host is and the folks he interviews. So many times I have caught myself nodding my head up and down and just mouth wide open in utter shock that the way I think and behave isn’t unique to me, and it has made me feel less alone and more confident that there is hope for me. it has also given me more confidence to pursue a treatment plan. (My one teeny tiny gentle criticism—and I include this more as a kind of joke—is that with some sensory issues I have, the intro music is not for me! I have to turn it down or skip through it 🤓.

This podcast has helped my relationships
I love this podcast! He does such a great job of balancing education, validating those with adhd, and offering support in a way that actually help adhd-ers make life improvements. My mom (who doesn’t have adhd) has always had a hard time understanding why I am the way I am. I shared this podcast with my mom and now she listens. We have finally gotten to a place where she gets it, and stops asking me why I “don’t just do things” and offers me support in getting my things done. I am so grateful!

Keeps me coming back
In true ADHD form, I’ve gone through phases of listening to a lot of different podcasts about ADHD. I tend to find a few episodes that are of interest and then find then find episodes to be repetitive. This podcasts keeps me coming back over and over. I like the wide range of topics and presenters and the length is just right for me. I’d definitely recommend

ADHD predominantly Hyperactive/ impulsive
I love your show and the formatting including the shorter segments and main take aways.
I am wondering if you could speak more on ADHD hyperactive/ impulsivity type in women. I have found little content on this and would find it helpful.
I am a late diagnosed woman with all the criteria for ADHD hyperactive/impulsivity type and only two from the inattentive type. This appears to be really rare in the ADHD community and I would love to hear more about it. Thank you for your show!

I love everything about this show
The host is funny and charming, the information is very easy to digest!! To say the advice is helpful is an understatement, I’m so grateful for this podcast and the shifts I’ve seen already in my thinking and habits.

Love it!
William is an excellent host, and you can tell he feels so strongly about understanding ADHD and helping others understand it. He works so hard and gets at so many different aspects of this neurodivergence. Amazing work, keep it up!

Must listen
If you have ADHD or live with someone who has, you should listen to this. I have learned so many things about myself and learned so many tricks. This made my life and myself easier and more effective.

Wow, really helpful
I’m really glad I stumbled on this podcast. William is amazing. I seriously feel like he must have been following me around my whole life, with how much he “gets it”. His lectures are really informative, interesting, a little funny, and helpful. I highly recommend checking them out (they are also real brief and easy to get through).

Dear my fellow ADHDians,
Think of it like this, some people are normal.. well.. actually…MOST people are normal in our world. But you know who isn’t normal?
Every single flippin superhero.
You know who else isn’t normal?
Neurodivergents.
Honestly, I don’t see any difference between us and superheroes. We have special abilities like leaving our keys in the refrigerator and not being able to do one thing for a really really really really long ti- WAIT HOLD ON I THINK I SEE A SQUIRREL!!
What was I saying? Oh yeah… we are superheroes. Neurotypicals don’t have the ability to get distracted by that spec of dirt under their right index fingers fingernail!
So yeah
I’m a superhero
And you are too

Parent with an Adult Child with ADHD
This show is outstanding and unique. In reading many books about ADHD and listening to other podcasts, I appreciate William’s clarity and brevity. My son is reassessing how ADHD affects his life in college as a young adult and the clear examples with actionable strategies for solutions is invaluable and life changing. William has a calm supportive voice and my son and I enjoy listening to the short podcasts together then discussing how the strategies might work in his life. I mostly appreciate how William does not spend much time explaining ADHD. Most of the information available about ADHD is about how to understand ADHD not what to do about it. Having someone as a guide who successfully lives with ADHD and has strategies for dealing with the challenging effects of living without strong executive functioning skills is inspiring.

word coolies is amazing
Very helpful!
It is quite amazing to hear someone describe my life so specifically when he is, in fact, describing his own. I’m almost taken aback at how precisely (and I suppose predictably) all my behaviors that I struggle with are described here. It is a very strange feeling to think that all these issues are just a part of ADHD, when I had just come to accept that they were a defective aspect of myself.
Mobjack11
Check this out… helpful, down to earth, easy to listen to
This is the most helpful ADHD podcast I have found so far. William has a wonderful ability to be vulnerable and relatable while also being very good at presenting practical, tested tips for ways to work with or “hack” our ADHD. He sometimes gives personal examples, and you feel that he’s really coming from a place of living day to day and in the moment with the quirks and strengths and challenges of our neurodiverse condition. He does a very helpful review of the main points at the end of many of his episodes. Even better, he shows empathy and kindness that none of us are perfect and it’s ok to just try to do our best, and sometimes we will make mistakes. Please check it out. (The other ADHD Rewired podcasts are very good too.)

Amazing!
I love this show! I listen to it all the time and love the fast info! Having adhd and being neurodivergent I love the quick and to the point tips and info. I am recently diagnosed and being a female who is almost 40, and a therapist, I need this. My clients who also have adhd are living this. It tickles my brain in all the right way. I struggle to listen to certain voices and don’t do well with chitter chatter that I feel is pointless. Thank you William for all you do and all you talk about especially self-disclosure!!!

ADHD and diet episode
I think this is a very important topic. However, the dietitian was so difficult to understand. She appeared to have vocal fry. Why she couldn’t enunciate and speak clearer I don’t know. I think you had valid questions, and I found myself turning the volume down when she spoke because it was so irritating. I think you have a great podcast, but getting it clear is really important part
