Amazing pod :0
Such a great podcast, i want to go into cybersecurity or web design after high school and this is very inspiring. I can’t believe some people give this one star.

Great Hooks. Lacks Depth and Insight
I first came across Hacked through their episode The Red Teamer, which was fantastic. The guest, a red teamer turned entrepreneur, shared insightful experiences from the industry and discussed the shift toward identity-based security. As a security professional, I found it fascinating to hear about real-world vulnerabilities and how attacks have evolved over time. This episode had depth, a great guest, and valuable takeaways—exactly what I was looking for.
Encouraged by that episode, I started exploring more of the podcast. Unfortunately, I found a disappointing pattern. While the show excels at drawing listeners in with strong hooks and compelling intros, the rest of the episode often turns into surface-level discussion rather than deep analysis. It feels like two guys casually chatting about cybersecurity news rather than breaking down attacks in a meaningful way.
A great example of this was the Ticketmaster breach episode. The intro set high expectations, making it seem like we’d get a well-researched breakdown of how two different groups exploited Ticketmaster—one stealing millions of barcodes, the other reverse-engineering the SafeTix algorithm. But instead of diving into the technical details, the episode quickly veered into a broad discussion about Ticketmaster’s reputation, its secondary market monopoly, and general opinions on the company. There was little to no real analysis of the breach itself—no insight into attack methods, security takeaways, or how the industry might respond to such threats.
Overall, Hacked has potential, but it needs more substance. If the hosts focused on deeper research—examining the technical aspects of attacks, lessons learned, and industry implications—this could be an excellent podcast. Right now, it too often feels like commentary on security headlines rather than an informative deep dive. I’m giving it 2 out of 5 stars because, while I really enjoyed The Red Teamer, the lack of meaningful analysis in other episodes left me frustrated. I hope the hosts consider adding more depth to their discussions in the future.

you might be a robot if
i can't remember passwords or solve captcha and i certainly depend on the web to keep my stuff safe. but i would like to understand who is testing that safety and what i as a human can do to fortify myself against it. because maybe sometimes the web needs to be broken so that it can improve. i find im more receptive to hearing stories that make me see the human issues that affect security, and i really enjoy the stories from listeners of light hearted pranks that ended up much more significant. no stupid ai required to make this podcast a good length and density. win 5:5 stars

Click bait
This podcast is clickbait to listen to another podcast that costs a lot of money. Do not fall for the trap. These guys are rude and clueless. They don’t know tcp from ip.

Very informative
I learned a lot of really good and useful information that helped me find reference points to get started with the FlipperZero.

I am not a an individual who is drawn to technology. I am very much analog, in nature. Even though computers hold zero fascination for me, I really value this program. The stories are basically human interest stories. Software and hardware certainly play significant roles in the story, but the personalities of the hackers and groups of hackers is the star of the show. These gentlemen have a smooth and easy banter, as well. They don’t interrupt each other and the sarcasm is nothing short of exquisite.

Love the show but please fix your audio
Love the show guys. I’m a pentester/red teamer myself so I appreciate having a relaxed show that focuses more on casual conversations than technical explanations and deep dives. Everything doesn’t need to be a technical exposé and you do a great job of maintaining that conversation with your audience.
One piece of advice though… PLEASE FIX YOUR AUDIO BALANCING!! Your audio in a lot of episodes (even the brand new ones) has such a huge volume range that it requires constant adjusting on your audiences side. Please balance your audio so that it’s volume equalized. I think it’s from moving backwards away from the mic and then forward back towards the mic. Either way it makes it difficult to listen to the show when in the car. It’s easier with headphones because you can equalize the volume levels in your phone software. Anyway, please fix it.
Five stars even with the audio problems.

Outstanding
Pure excitement every time my feed shows a new episode. Fascinating pod with great reporting, investigation, and sources. Just one thing… CAN YOU PLEASE LINK THE MUSIC OR LITERALLY ANY CONTACT INFO? LIKE 99% OF OTHER SHOWS? Maybe I’m just a noob. Wish I could make contact and at least ask about the music. Love this show though.

Good podcast about technology but…
I’m fan of your show. Listened all the episodes, they usually entertaining and informative. But last episode “crying call” , I wish you had more about how to prevent or detect the scammers instead “how to make a scam better”.

Loved (but slightly terrifying)
As the title says, I love this podcast, but it also reminded me how inadequate my current so-called “cyber-security” is. That said, this is a really interesting and engaging podcast!!

Fav security podcast
As someone getting into the industry, this is my fav cyber security podcast for non-technical folks. Great insights, stories, and explanations.

Very fluffy, lacks content
This is no Darknet Diaries. Feels stretched. Topics are goot, sound quality is excellent, but the style doesn’t work for me, doesn’t feel right.

15 mins with 5 mins of ads
I heard of this podcast from darknet diaries. because of my work, I basically just listen to podcast for almost 10 hours a day, after finish darknet diaries, I decided to give this a try. very disappointed, no content, ads after ads. right now im listening to Stuff They Don’t Want You To Know. also a lots ads, but at least they have more content, much more in-depth, and longer, around 30 to 60 mins.

Please make more episodes
LOVE this podcast. So smart and informative, but engaging and accessible in a way that many tech podcasts are not. Please make more episodes! It's hard to find other resources to learn about hacking from scratch and this podcast is the best.

So much, yet so little.
I just fell in love with this podcast, but it seems to be a one day stand. There needs to be more episodes and more often! This is phenomenal!
Please up your output.

So Great!
Such a great podcast for those in the InfoSec field/ interested in InfoSec! They explain everything so well and they do a good job at keeping you engaged and interested. Maybe they could teach that skill to some of my old professors 😀. Definitely one of my favorite podcast to listen to.

Nice Balance Between Entertaining and Informative
Hacked manages to illustrate its concepts in a way that's simple enough for the average Joe to understand, but still complex enough to be informative. If you have any interest in computer security, I'd recommend giving it a shot.
My only gripe is that the upload schedule so far has been very sporadic, but I think that the quality makes up for it. Upload schedule aside, it's been a very promising podcast so far, and I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Started off good
This podcast started off good then took a downturn. They haven't produced an episode in over 2 months. Their Twitter said they are awaiting sponsors. Build a following first you left all them dry not a good thing to do to create an audience

Nice
But you should upload more often

Amazing Quality (Content & Sound)
Found this podcast on Reddit and was blow away by how awesome this podcast was. This isn’t aimed for IT Security Junkies, as it’s not going to explain in-depth on how to hack. Instead, I feel like this is aimed for people with curiosity of how such hacks happen. It makes non-techy people aware of what’s out there. Highly recommend giving it a listen.

Horrible
As a IT Professional of 30 years,I subscribe to this podcast thinking it may have accurate information to share. I found basically the audio version of the link bait "news" reports about the latest hack read by some blond bimbo on the mass market "news" broad cast or reporting on the Huffington Post and other Internet rags. I listed to the first three, exaggerations, half truths, scare words, with no practical mitigation suggestions. The sky is falling, it's all crap, there is no use, no hope.... break out your abacus and rip the cable off your house. Haunting music and hyperbole is what this podcast is about. Too bad, you could have created a more intelligent podcast rather than regurgitaing scary stories that only idiots will be able to listen to after the first couple. I gave you three thinking it might get better. It did not. I am not sure if you are really ignorant to information security, or if your target audience is those calling their son because they can not connect to their home Wi-Fi. 51 Minutes I will never get back. Thanks, I would have been better investing the 51 minutes into sleep.
