Really missing the podcast
This podcast was great, funny, interesting and so much more. I'm really sad since there are no new episodes.

Incredibly Frustrating
When I first started listening, I thought that this was a podcast for IT professionals, or at least for people who are technologically inclined. After a couple episodes I am so frustrated with Geoff that I can’t keep listening. For example, in the episode “False Charges” where they discuss the rogue charging cable that installs malware on Geoff’s laptop, and I can’t even finish it. Why is the host of this show someone who doesn’t understand even basic IT concepts? I understand that the hosts want to make it accessible for more than just IT pros, but Jesus Christ most 15 year olds understand the stuff that the guests are explaining, and Geoff barely knows how to turn his computer on. Just seems strange that they wouldn’t have a host who at least knows a bit about programming/networking/anything.

Interesting
When you search up Bruce Snell in an internet browser there are many people with the same name.

Love it
I adore this show. The host is engaging and funny. The information is clear and free of jargon. And it’s fun! I love hearing how my toaster could get hacked and how the best anti hacks are low tech and easy for non tech people to do. Keep safe!

Interesting and fun
Love the combination of technology, fun and learning. Each podcast has been one I recommended to others. That's rare.

Entertaining podcast for the average joe on how you can be possibly be hacked
Very entertaining podcast for the average joe on how hackers can get your data/personal info with very little effort. I’ve worked in IT for over 25 years and am a self professed geek who loves technology so a lot of the concepts discussed/demonstrated aren’t foreign to me. If you are a hardcore techie you aren’t going to learn a ton from this podcast but you will certainly be entertained as the naive host gets hacked and manages to sound surprised every time it happens. I do feel sorry for Pedro as he has been the victim of a few hacks when he wasn’t aware of them happening (dead drops and remote control in particular) and didn’t seem to be all that happy about it.

One of those few podcasts...
Epic. This is an epic podcast.

Too silly.
I can’t stand the approach this podcast takes with the quirky jokes and level 101 discussions and dialogues as though the host truly has no idea what a computer is every episode. Just silly.

Continues going downhill
I started listening to Hackable when it first aired with episode 1. The podcast started off well, interesting stories put out in a good format. Lately though, it has become more of a not well done dramatic presentation, with clearly fake “real” scenes that weigh down the point, which is to learn about security. Disappointing, hopefully they get back to what they used to do and make this podcast interesting again.

Wonderful, interesting, professional
I, am old. 64 to be precise, so I am only marginally computer savvy. But I am fascinated by all things digital. This podcast does a great job of speaking about all issues cyber, whilst explaining issues to folks not expert at computer issues. Plus the stories in addition to being fascinating are also often quite funny.

Informative - in an interesting and understandable style
This is a wonderfully helpful podcast! The information presented is a set of “real-world” topics that give the listener a wealth of knowledge of security considerations in everyday life. The information is clearly presented, and easy to understand. Each episode has a list of things we can do to be more secure. Very well-done!

Problems downloading, otherwise great
Fun and informative. I enjoyed listening all of the first season, but starting with season two had problems downloading (iTunes on Windows). On some (but not all) episodes I get the dreaded exclamation point in iTunes, and can't download or play the episode. Couldn't say if this is a problem on my end, but I'm subscribed to a dozen or so other podcasts that update as expected. Not sure if McAfee looks at these reviews, but hoping there is something that can correct this. Thanks. Specifically, the episodes published on Nov 11 and Dec 16 download as expected, but the others don't. Weird.

Informative and entertaining
I am a long time IT specialist and have a good amount of experience with the subjects discussed here. I find this show really entertaining and have suggested it to many of my non-tech friends to get a better idea of what can actually happen to you out there (CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS). They don't seem to believe me, so maybe they will beilive Geoff. Keep up the good work! The show is well done, so I know the team is putting a lot of time into it. Sometimes I wish for more details, but understand that is probably out of scope for the show. It's not, per say, a technical show. Which is why I recommend it to my non-technical friends.

So interesting!
So informative and interesting. Listening to each and every episode. And just about everything covered I was wondering about. Camera Creepers! I know people who put tape over the webcam. Thinking they were crazy. Years ago I googled Avril. Messed up that computer. Keep up the great work, it is greatly appreciated. All my questions answered.....

It’s a grrrrrrrreeat podcast!
McAfee uses a very simplistic approach to explaining everything that can be hacked. Keep up the great work McAfee!

Great Podcast!
I found this one as I was on my email, McAfee advertised it I guess. I decided to just give it a chance and I just had a lot of fun listening to all their activities.

My favorite podcast
Nope not fake news, it’s true. Can’t wait for the next season. I might even buy some McAfee to make my pc less hackable

Highlight of my day.
I love this podcast and always look forward to a new episode. It’s interesting, produced beautifully and made in a way that a non techie can understand and enjoy. Thanks for the podcast!

Hands-on hacks
I love that this show actually does the hacks that they talk about. Too often, shows get lost talking about theoretical vulnerabilities or second hand reports. It adds a ton of credibility that they find hackers to make it work in real time. Some are not as dangerous as the media portrays while others are much more serious just not as well known. I think the host has a great tone and does a good job interviewing.

Practical and Informative
From episode one Hackable has been great at laying out the various cyber and digital threats that exist to everyday consumers then also providing practical countermeasures and practices. The host and guests are always fun to listen to, and the topics have not been dull even once. Despite not being a tech-savvy individual, I can follow the issues and episode seamlessly. Would be great to hear more about encrypted email, cloud, and chat services. Many companies are claiming “zero knowledge”, “military grade”, and “off shore/out of reach of govt/security services”. What do these terms mean, what do they entail, and how true is any of it for the large services. I look forward to the new episodes and re-listen to old ones to harden my knowledge in personal security. Thanks for this podcast to the team!

Finally a podcast that helps family and friends know what I do for a living
Now when family and friends ask what I do as a Cybersecurity expert I can point them to this podcast and Geoff can explain in terms they actually understand!

Scary but True
What we think of as secure is, in general, not. Thank you for keeping us informed.

Yikes!!
Thank you for proving to all my friends that I’m not as paranoid as they think I am!! 🤣😂 I absolutely look forward to each new podcast you put out! Thanks for teaching and making me more aware! I feel I am more cautious now!! 🤘🏼😊🤙🏼

Informative and scary
I don't remember how I stumbled across this gem, but I look forward to every episode. I'm glad it's back fro anthoer season. This podcast both scares the crap out of me and helps me be more attuned to the technology issues in the things I use (or were thinking about using) every day.

Foil pouch for my RFDs
This show makes me re-consider my personal cybersecurity. I loved the episode about RFDs but I have to wonder if Jeff and Bruce get paid every time someone buys a foil pouch! Are they in the pocket (HA HA) of the foil pounch industry?
Farraday Cage
Good podcast
It is a fun podcast to listen to, and I would say good, but not great. They have great info about hacking and how to avoid it, but they should put a bit more effort into making their recommendations more specific (i.e. on how to avoid being hacked). The info just scratches the surface a lot of the time. Fun stuff tho.

I want more!!
Best thing ever. Like Mythbusters, but somehow better

Fearmongering is the best sales pitch
No real content except for endless regurgitation of scary stories to sell McAfee's garbage products

Great Security info in common language
One of he things I love most about his podcast is that it provides essential security information using common language that non-IT people can understand. I’m a techie but he shares the info in a way my parents could comprehend (if they were interested).
Mark Hauschild
Love it
I’m interested in becoming a cyber security researcher when I grow up, and I was never a fan of McAfee but this makes me like them a little more. Now if only their detection ratio went up... hm...

Great Series
I love this podcast very engaging and informative. As a 25 year Security Systems Professional I would love them to do an episode that exposes the risks of using inferior security systems products and how Hackable these products are. Especially in the DIY market space and wireless security products. Great show.

Great podcast!
Both entertaining and really educational at the same time!

Really great! But why’d you remove “.flashscramble.sh from the intro?

Good one!
I really enjoy this podcast, recommended to anyone who surfs the web. As a recommendation, I would like to hear about torrents, pirate software and the dangers of downloading stuff from torrents

Rubbish - I can’t believe Gimlet Media Would Publish This
I understand that this is from the highly commercial arm of Alex Blumberg’s Media empire Gimlet. I have been an avid supporter of all their shows, sponsored or not but this is crap. Predictable, hysteria! For me, this shows that money rules. Is it McAfee that is pushing this junk or Gimlet? Either way, this is just dirt cheap fear mongering.
