Criminals who don’t like jail
A unintentional hilarious podcast that pretends it’s journalism. Never speak with someone with opposing views. Miss major reasons that incarceration even exists- episode one tries to give the reason for prison- never mentions public safety. This is the biggest reason. Locking up those who prey on society is a protection.

Ending Mass Incarceration
I survived my years in the Wisconsin State prisons. Thank you for taking the time to produce and share your story Herbert. Consider me an ally, a brother in the struggle to end mass incarceration.

Great contribution to the criminal justice reform conversation
This podcast series illuminates a facet of the American approach to criminal justice that affects so many people but is mostly unknown or misunderstood by the public it claims to protect. Prof. Loehr’s research identifying the eugenics movement as the origin of habitual sentencing laws (Ep. 3) is truly groundbreaking. The 5 problems with habitual sentencing laws make it easy to wrap your head around and share, and the personal stories of the people snd communities these wasteful, inhuman laws destroy make the series unforgettable. This is what podcasts are for!

A must listen for anyone impacted by the justice system
Amazing story! While this story is focused on Colorado, it’s a shared experience for many others incarcerated or family members of incarcerated individuals. We need to change the system, and Herbert’s story needs to be heard by all!
