I’ve been listening since 2014/2015. Recently noticed I’d often turn it off before the interviews began - a lot of the recent interviews are guests they’ve had on before. Krystyna lost me a while ago - her insistence on talking to people who have experienced real grief over the loss of a loved one (when she admittedly has not experienced a close death herself) about “woo woo” stuff just grosses me out. She just comes off as disingenuous. Corrine is… tough. She was always my favorite but lately she’s just coming off as someone with a severe superiority complex. I love to be belittled and made fun of as much as the next gal but it’s a bit much. It’s like she resents everyone that has supported her. She’s just been miserable to listen to lately. So I cancelled my luminary subscription and I’m going to move on. I appreciate the podcast for what it did for me in my 20s! Wish them the best. original review: I look forward to new episodes every week and I have been listening since 2014! I have seen them live twice and their uncensored conversations have really helped me find the humor in a lot of seemingly hopeless situations. Love these women and truly appreciate how much they share about their lives; that takes A LOT of guts and no one seems to realize they don’t OWE us that. I can’t wait to see what else they do. I have been listening for years. The most recent episode with the jokes about comparing the sexual abuse of a disabled black man to a South Park episode took it a little too far. I know this is a comedic podcast, but was I was not expecting that when I clicked today. I appreciate the insight and laughs from the past. The podcast was nice for me as I was coming of age and learning, but I will be unfollowing after this week‘s episode.

I’m an OG listener, my favorite podcast, the ONLY podcast I’ve kept listening to for the past ten years and these gals keep faithfully putting them out, which I am so grateful for. It’s something I can count on. And I can’t begin to really stress how great the content is, funny, informative, provocative. I have always considered myself a strong feminist, but I have alongside Corinne and Krystyna and benefited from their exploration of what it means to be a woman in our culture. I have always come to love stand up comedy and comedians, which I wasn’t expecting. I really admire and respect what they do and literally their crucial contribution to our culture. We need these ladies out on the fringe, challenging archaic ideas and expanding us all!!

I’ve been listening since 2017! My favorite podcast!

I used to really like this show but I find myself shutting it off more and more lately and now I’m going to unfollow for the time being. Corrine and Krystyna (mostly Corrine) come across as extremely condescending and often bitter and it has become tiring. I understand that they get annoying messages from listeners or have bad experiences with fans sometimes but I really don’t need to listen to them complain about it and give some little snarky speech about it. It was really bad after their breakups but I still notice it pretty often. It’s likely a very small percentage of listeners that need to hear something like and super off putting to rest of us.

Best podcast out there

I don’t understand why this podcast isn’t rated higher. It is the OG podcast and superior to all others. I’ve tried to find other podcasts that compare and they just don’t. This podcast has the perfect combination of humor, helpfulness, and playfulness. Not too light not too heavy. I really think it’s the best podcast out there.

As an OG listener it’s been super disappointing to longer feel the connection to this podcast that had a grip on me for the past 8 years. I love Krystyna, and you can tell she cares about her “fans”, which isn’t a requirement for a good host, but still allows for some relatability. But we are all clearly beneath Corinne, who could never possibly relate to us. Her attitude has become so dry and condescending/patronizing over the past few years and is the reason I deleted luminary. It wasn’t until listening to giggly squad, who so clearly love their fans, think they’re hilarious, and seem to at least respect their listeners, for me to realize how negatively GWF was impacting my mood after listening.

In the past I was dismayed by certain advice given. Then I realized I’m not an expert and for someone to need a disclaimer would be asking too much from podcast listenership, let alone hosts. Changing review to a thumbs-up to reflect this. And hopefully grow the reach of the of the podcast (even if just by a nano-meter).

Loved this podcast for years. Listened when the first aired, couldn’t afford luminary but would listen when a friendly would lend me her iPad. I love Corinne. Her questions to the guests, the banter, jokes, honesty. All of it. I followed Corinne to two less lonely girls (rip, loved this podcast). Now without a country. Corinne is a great host and story teller. Krystyna is also funny but a …. Ok cohost. She really needs to work on not interrupting/talking over people. And listening! This is something that was an issue since the conception of the podcast and has continued to get worse over time. If this was improved, then I think the podcast would be 5 stars. But listening, asking questions about the guests experience(s), rather than asking questions that will relate directly back to Krystyna. I have seen both perform and met both after their shows. Absolutely wonderful people! But just wanted to offer constructive criticism

I’ve been listening to this podcast for years and it’s a staple in my life. Corinne and Krystyna are incredibly funny and insightful. I love that they can be vulnerable and give out tough love advice.

I began listening to GWF when I was a grad student in 2015. I’ve been listening and loving this podcast ever since, and have been a Luminary subscriber specifically for their podcast for about the last two years. I’m a big fan of Corinne and Krystyna in general, and enjoy their comedy and other side projects. If you like independent, funny women with interesting takes you might not hear elsewhere, I’d recommend giving them a try!

Learning that I have HSP has helped me understand myself more, fyi. Love y’all!

I hate to be a grouch, because I admire this podcast and its presenters. But in these incredibly sensitive times, when voting is so massively consequential, they should either avoid political topics altogether or come on with some information rather than just spout glib inanities. Obama didn’t accomplish anything? Does the affordable care act count and saving the country from a dire recession? What about Biden? Please just look up CHIPS act, infrastructure bill, funding the IRS, etc. (These accomplishments in the face of profound republican dysfunction and intransigence, not to forget). Y’all can do better and be much more responsible.

From listening in on their self journeys and stories on everything to relationships, family struggles and deaths, to jaw dropping experiences (and everything in between), I am amazed at these women and the education, comedy, and eye opening perspectives (from them and others!!) they bring to to the show. It continues to only get better and better with each episode. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Used to be a huge fan of these two, even was a Luminary subscriber as soon as they were on the platform, but have stopped listening + unsubscribed. The advice is getting sexist and misogynistic. Not surprising, as they often bring on some of the most racist and unfunny comedians who get off on being offensive. Was a fan for 7+ years, but have moved on from this disappointing show which no longer is the feminist, progressive show that I was a fan of.

I am a new listener and I’m obsessed with this show so much!!!! Will be listening to the entire catalog. Thank you ladies for being my ear pals for the foreseeable future ily

I was stoked to find these gals and then highly disappointed after listening to just a few podcasts. They seem to think that birth control and booze are good for us? What a joke. As someone who loves Sex, comedy, intimacy, and keeping myself kid free, I was put off almost immediately with the lack of overall education and knowledge around the toxic effects of alcohol on our bodies, total disregard for the consequences of fake hormones/birth control, and I sincerely hope they take a hard look at the misinformation they are spreading. A real disappointment indeed. I don’t think we need more gossip in the podcast space, we need women that understand our bodies and can advocate for us while also getting real about the toxic nature of drugs and alcohol and how we are sabotaging our innate abilities to live a full life. Don’t waste your time.

I see this podcast suggested to me everyday. I have never listened and am not interested in listening. When are you going to suggest something else? There seems to be no way to hide the suggestion. I’m tired of ignoring it or scrolling past it so I am just going to give it a 1 star review to see if it goes away.

I have been listening to this podcast for years and I love it. They used to have different types of guests on the show, but they only seem to interview comedians now. I would love to listen to guest other than comedians.

This is one of my absolute favorite podcasts. The subscription to Luminary was absolutely worth it for the price, the high quality and the consistency of the content. They’re a delight to listen to during whatever monotonous actives you could be up to.

This show is literally the only reason I am surviving my dreadfully BORING work at home job. Thank you, ladies!

have listened to corinne and krystyna soon after their podcast began airing. i’m 24 now. not only have these ladies made me laugh every friday, but they also helped me pave my way to secure sexual expression and learning to trust in others. their guests are almost always interesting. personally a big fan of corinne because she and i have very similar views and beliefs, at least from what i can gather from the podcast. i have a lot of respect for these two! (and mike) super side note but i gotta mention that krystyna sounds like miley cyrus

I would trust these two with my life

I have been listening to these two for years. They tell it like it is, are not afraid to talk about controversial issues, and I absolutely love how they back women up. True feminists! I might not agree with everything they say, but as Corinne rightfully reminds her listeners, if you are on board with everything someone says, then we are worried about your lack of critical thinking skills. Have some thoughts of your own, basically. Krystyna is so vulnerable and transparent about her trauma and family struggles, and Corinne is as honest and proud to be herself as they come. They complement each other perfectly, and it shows as they draw out the people they interview. Love the Mike addition as well. Huge fan!

Podcast title and episode titles are great but this podcast itself is not funny. I heard them on the Bad Dates podcast which was funny, so they can be funny.

Started listening to the show because me and Corinne have the same name so I figured our name is rare enough let me give the podcast a shot and I’ve been hooked ever since. I am now a luminary subscriber and regular listener. These ladies are like the big sisters I always needed and their wisdom has been invaluable as I’m navigating my twenties!

Take a shot every time krystyna says “I imagine” and you’ll be hammered. Love this podcast, love these woman, never stop talking about sex

Funny, real, and refreshing.

Really enjoy this show particularly when they talk about themselves. The interviews have been great as well.

I honestly love Krystyna but Corrine at this point is unbearable. I’m personally not a conservative or a liberal but she has an over whelming need to want praise or want to be perceived as a “rebel” for being an edgy conservative democrat.

Looooveeeeee this podcasts. It’s like sitting around chatting with a bunch of friends when I’m listening 🤣🥰
