I love the podcast and I think it you should keep going beyond the hour long episodes. You say that a really long episode could get annoying, but let us be honest: I can’t get enough Kristen and Will, and keeping the episodes at a specific length is really limiting the world to Kristen and Will on an episode. Plus, I would love to hear the stuff that never got on the episodes.

Guide to the Unknown is hands-down my favorite podcast. I already love anything spooky, paranormal, and weird, but the hosts are what really make it special. Kristin and Will always make me laugh. The subject matter is always quirky and interesting, and every episode feels like hanging out with silly friends who know a lot of creepy stuff. This in the only podcast I refuse to half-listen to while multitasking. I actually save episodes for times when I can fully pay attention because they always say something unexpected or hilarious. I genuinely laugh during every episode. If you love spooky topics mixed with humor, personality, and good storytelling, this is the podcast to check out.

Kristen and Will have incredible podcast/radio voices, and they really had me hooked after searching for entertaining Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows and Friday the 13th content. Episode #395 is a diamond. The fact that these siblings have such a profound (and entertaining) appreciation for such introspections, just makes my eyes widen and mouth drop open with each episode I flip through and open. So many pods exist, and so many fail to deliver (but reach some, so good for them), but this is a giant shepard’s hook; and I’m their type of lamb. *Kristen sounds shockingly like Rachel Reeves from Halloweenies; another wonderful podcast. This is great stuff.

These are the nerdy siblings I should be related to!! It’s a great listen when you want something that has just enough creep factor but isn’t scary. (Although to be honest I’d listen to them talk about most anything.) It is the best when they manage to make each other laugh so hard that you hear only a slight wheeze! I also think it’s great that they keep it clean enough that really any one can listen. Will and Kristen I want to be buds!

The new Batman returns episode there’s a point towards the end where Will does an impression of Batman with the lisp. Laughed so hard out loud at work that people looked at me like I was crazy. 5 stars just for that

Listening to Will laugh at Kristen’s description of the bad movie was so hilarious. My sisters live across the country and they’re busy with little kids and I wish I got a chance to laugh with them every week like you two. I’m so happy for you both, thank you for sharing your relationship with us through this silly/creepy/cozy podcast. We all need pockets of joy like this in our lives right now!

I love the mix of horror, folklore, and popular culture!

This is by far my favorite podcast ever. I was originally introduced to Guide to the Unknown by my friend who had sent in a story concerning me, and I had to write in and set the record straight. My introduction on the podcast was Will saying my line, “I am the roommate.” I have also written in regarding strange things that have happened to me. Since my introduction to GTTU, I managed to catch the lives until the live switched from evening to daytime. I now listen every Friday that the podcast comes out and I watch the YouTube version. I am hoping to see more lives if I get the chance and if you do lives at night again.

My number one podcast, hands down! After discovering Guide to the Unknown about a year ago, I spent months catching up on the impressive 400+ episode catalog and enjoyed every second. If you live for folklore, all things spooky, and horror, you absolutely must check this out. Now that I'm fully caught up, the time has come to start on their second podcast. I already love spending time with hosts Kristen and Will every week; now I'm thrilled to double the fun!

I started listening to GTTU for the Blair Witch deep dive episodes, so imagine my delight at seeing another of these on November 7th! I came here for the witch lore, and stayed listening because William and Kristen are truly great hosts.

I first started listening to GTTU when there were only a handful of eps, way back in 2017. since then, I have of course listened to many other podcasts, but GTTU has remained my number one gal. their consistency, their humor, the sibling banter, plus whatever topic they are talking about — the spooky, the unsolved, or the silly — means it is always a pleasure to listen to Guide to the Unknown. I don’t even really care for most horror movies, but I love to listen to Kristen and Will talk about them! and now that my husband has become a fan, we love winding down on Friday or Saturday night by watching the latest ep on youtube together. all that to say, thank you so much for the hours upon hours of entertainment and quite frankly, companionship. GTTU is the best! highly, highly recommend.

I LOVE this show! I do love stories of the paranormal and Cryptids, but what I’m really here for is the banter. I always smile when I listen to the show and I feel like I want to hang out with these two.

This podcast is so fun! I love the conversations between Kristen and Will. It reminds me of talking with my own siblings, especially on the Timtober movie episodes. Growing up my brother, sister and I loved all of those movies you covered, from Peewee to Batman! And Will’s voice impressions get me every time. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely love love LOVE this podcast! I have been listening to them since episode one and they are the epitome of scary fun. I became so addicted to my weekly dose of laughter therapy, that I happily joined their Patreon and I’ve been having a blast ever since. Kristen and Will make you feel like you’ve been friends for ages and if/when you become a part of the Patreon discord, you will meet even more fun and spooky friends. I have reviewed before but I wanted to update. I've been listening since 2017 and this podcast remains my favorite. In the very frightening world we reside in now, levity and humor are so important. This podcast helps keep me sane. Listening to Kristen and Will is self-care and their laughter has carried me through some of the toughest experiences in my adult life. Their relationship reminds me of my own with my big brother which in and of itself is a comfort. I'm so grateful that this podcast, and these folks, continue to provide much needed relief from reality.

This is THE comfort show in my anti-anxiety arsenal. I have listened through almost all of your episodes multiple times now, finding the humor and familiar cadence so touching, warm, and fuzzy - especially in the fall. When it rains, it pours, and when I went through major health scares with my partner and cats recently, this was quite literally all I could get myself to listen to. Thank goodness we’re on the other side now, major stressors alleviated, but it showed me how important this show is, and of course I just keep coming back to hear silly and loving sibling banter... about the coolest topics, to boot. I am confident I am not alone in this; you have created a welcoming space for all. I love creepy/bizarre/unknown topics (shocker) but don’t really like gore and horror, so this really is the pod I listen to to be like, “Hmm what IS the deal with that Jason fellow? Wait, WHO's Freddy? Nic Cage did WHAT?” without having to watch movies far too extreme for my delicate palate. It took a whole lot of stress in my life for me to figure it out, but this is my favorite podcast - and it's a crime that, as a five-year listener, I am only now writing you a review. But you deserve it one-hundred-fold. Thank you, thank you, thank you for what you do. Please keep it up. I love you guys!

I listen to supernatural podcast’s to escape the ugliness of main stream media. However the host’s of this podcast bring up politics and their opinions frequently. Not a very welcoming environment.

I have been laughing through this whole episode. Dr. B? The way you’re describing her and when she says Rob Lowe has problems with his FEET! OMG dying. Then the “Pincher Fingers” grabbing ravioli!! This is my favorite episode so far. The lady in the tiny cubicle! By the time we get to the basement hole with pillows and sleeping bags that may still be there, I have tears in my eyes laughing. You both have a great way of telling a story.

There’s a reason this show’s website is scaryfun.fun — because it is both scary AND fun (fun). I’ve been listening for years and am consistently delighted by Will and Kristen’s vibes and banter. Honestly, I laugh harder at this than I do at most of the straight-up comedy pods I listen to. They cover a wide variety of topics, both spooky and pop culture. For most pods, I skip when I’m not into the topic, but I listen to GTTU without fail because I know that even if the topic isn’t my favorite thing, their commentary will bring some joy to my day. I loved the Witch Trials episode. Will & Kristen’s ability to deftly discuss important current issues and how they tie in with historical patterns like the witch trials, while also being funny, entertaining, and informative is really impressive. I learned a lot and had fun along the way!

I found this podcast awhile back when someone from the original TBWP production mentioned Will. At first I just listened to all of your TBWP episodes. But I loved the dynamic so much I kept listening. My most hated chore is doing the dishes. So, when I know I need to do that, I turn on an episode of GttU and it helps me through the drudgery that is scrubbing plates and pans. Literally, if I didn’t find this podcast, I would just stand at my sink, sponge in hand, screaming in anguish. The dishes never stop. And I hope your podcast never stops either.

Love this podcast! Great energy between the brother/sister duo - you can tell they are really having fun! I am a long time listener and the evolution of the show has been fantastic. They know how to podcast. The Patron is consistent and well worth it. My only complaint is they don't put out shows everyday, I need more! You will like this show.
