Moving (Back) in Together

There's no place like home! There's no place like home! That's what we've been saying in the last couple of months while we wished we had ruby slippers that would magically teleport as to our own perfect place. But since we know no Glinda, we spent the last months house crawling, packing and unpacking a million times and looking for our next home. But we are super glad to tell you that this episode has been recorder from our very cozy green couch in our freshly rented attic. Click play and listen to a glimpse of what it meant for us to move (back) in together. And that's important because having constance in a sea of change is really importan for me. And cats are cool!" 😼 👁️Visual Identity: Adina Ionescu 🎵 Music: Benjamin Tissot (Royalty Free Music from www.bensound.com)

Episode 4 - Working Together
👩‍🦰Augustina: "At some point you asked me out for coffee and you did that because you wanted my money." 👦🏻Nae: "I remember quite clearly that I used you as an emotional crutch."   Welcome to Growing in Touch❣️ A podcast where we deconstruct processes that we use in our relationship and share them with the world in the hope that this might help you be happier together and realize that you are not alone.   💚Yes, we confess. We are also working together at the moment. We have been in different moments and ways throughout our relationship. That's why we decided this episode should focus on our professional relationship and how we built it. So hit play on episode number 4 and listen to some of the drawbacks and benefits working together had for us and what were some of the adjustments we had to make in our lives to accomodate this relationship too.   ⏮️Check our previous episodes on Growing in Touch's profile: 1st episode about Down Days 2nd episode about Difficult Conversations 3rd episode about Long Distance Relationships  ❓Here's a question for you: Have you worked together with a significant other? Episode 3 - Long Distance Relationships
Welcome to Growing in Touch❣️  A podcast where we deconstruct processes that we use in our relationship and share them with the world in the hope that this might help you be happier together and realize that you are not alone.   💚This time it's about Long Distance Relationships because we've just gone through one. With each other. And it was tough. We did so because we've just become reunited after a 7 month adventure during which we tried to grow in touch 😉 while being apart. This is actually the first episode we publish that we record while being in the same space.   ⏮️Check our previous episodes on Growing in Touch's profile 1st episode about Down Days 2nd episode about Difficult Conversations) ❓Here's a question for you: What was your longest long distance relationship? (ours was 7 months and 1.515 km apart)   👩‍🦰Augustina: "If you want to make a long distance relationship work, make time, make room for it. In any kind of relationship you need to dedicate time but in this case, this is something that we tend to forget: we get along with our days and we don't take time to keep the relationship going. "  👦🏻Nae: "Ask yourself this question: What can I do to keep my significant other part of my life & what can I do to be part of my significant other's life".   👁️Visual Identity: Adina Ionescu  🎵 Music: Benjamin Tissot (Royalty Free Music from www.bensound.com)

Episode 2 - Difficult Conversations
Welcome to Growing in Touch❣️ A podcast where we deconstruct processes that we use in our relationship and share them with the world in the hope that this might help you be happier together and realize that you are not alone. 💚For our second episode we chose the topic of difficult conversations. We did so because we believe these conversations are a given in any relationship and offer great potential for the partners to grow... in touch (see what we did there?). Therefore, in the following hour we will offer context (why we decided to go with this topic, how it is relevant for us), attempt the Augean task of defining difficult conversations, and take a look at how we tackle them from 5 different perspectives. ⏮️Check our first episode (Down Days) here: https://anchor.fm/dashboard/episode/ef8123 ❓Here's a question for you: What is a difficult conversation that you feel you tackled really well? 👩‍🦰Augustina: "The moment I understood I needed to set limits is the moment when I started having better conversations on topics I found difficult to tackle." 👦🏻Nae: "Acknowledging is an amazing tool! It doesn’t mean you have to agree with what they’re feeling – you don’t have to say sorry, you don’t have to make amends. Acknowledge it. If somebody’s afraid, or tired, or stressed - acknowledge it. And I promise you, it will work!". 👁️Visual Identity: Adina Ionescu 🎵 Music: Benjamin Tissot (Royalty Free Music from www.bensound.com)

Episode 1 - Down Days
Welcome to Growing in Touch❣️ A podcast where we deconstruct processes that we use in our relationship and share them with the world in the hope that this might help you be happier together and realize that you are not alone. 💚On this first episode we chose the topic of down days. Basically because of the times we are living when we are publishing this, a time when we think most of us are having down days more than usually. Therefore, in the following hour we will offer context (why we decided to choose this topic, how is it relevant for us), we try to define what down days mean for us, and we take a look at how we tackle them from 5 different perspectives. ❓Here's a question for you: What is a down day that you feel you handled well? We'd love to hear your stories on our social media channels or via e-mail. 👩‍🦰Augustina: "Down days come to give me a day of rest. They come to stop me from running a rat race all of the time." 👦🏻Nae: "Allow yourself to have down days. When you are feeling under the weather, allow yourself to be that way. Don't tell yourself you need to be productive, you need to be happy for a person or a situation. And I promise the down day will eventually go away and allowing it to be will make it go away!". 👁️Visual Identity: Adina Ionescu 🎵 Music: Benjamin Tissot (Royalty Free Music from www.bensound.com)
