How to Enjoy Moments of Decreased Dizziness Without Questioning Yourself
When dizziness strikes, we are so often in a holding pattern of 'how do I make this stop? How do I make this never happen again? I hate this feeling, how can I avoid it forever?' Now, although yes, I want you to feel confident and dizzy-free, it can be SO hard to stop the spiral when you're having a better day, too! I find that when a patient says 'I had a good day this week' the follow up statement is 'but I couldn't enjoy it, because I was so nervous the feeling was going to come back again'. Let's jump into the discussion of how to stop asking yourself 'when is this going to come back again?' and how to feel prepared for your next attack without feeling hypervigilant!
