Grimm 2 the Brim

A well know story but not as you remember it!  The Grimms pull it out of the bag (or the wolf in this case) with not-for-kids gore.   Davemustardface voices the wolf, Bananananks is Red and Novadoam narrates. We also have a Real 2 the Breal from Katepaintpots.

This week we read Rumpelstiltskin - a story about a man with serious issues about his name and a young woman who only knows 12 names but has 182 TikTok followers. We also have a Breal from Daveymustardface about a fairground with a ghost train!

At the start of the year, our married resident Grimmers Bananananks and Daveymustardface recorded this (very northern) track to try and combat their lockdown boredom.

This episode our newest member Novadoam tells us all about the Bremen Town Musicians (they are totally not what you think) and Andy has a "meandering" Breal (his words). Lots of laughs in this episode.  Don't drink coffee and listen at the same time.

We introduce Novadoam into this week's episode as an additional voice actor for our characters of our chosen story this episode - Snow White.  Slightly different from the Disney version you'll find, with a far more boisterous magic mirror and a pretty dumb Snow White.

A parsnip turned vicar decides he's gonna bang Ray Winstones wife. So he sends Ray on a quest to get her some gherkins. The story is read by Andy so prepare yourself for some wacky voices a scarily accurate impersonation of Ray Winstone and then strap yourself in for a wild TRUE story by Davie Mustardface in this week's 'REAL TO THE BREAL'

This week we take on one of the most famous fairy tales of all time - Cinderella.  Complete with voices. And then obviously we pull it apart.

This week we check out a Hansel and Gretel-esque story about two kids and a witch.  Kate reads us a gross story so don't eat before you listen.  And we unveil some listener comments in the form of complaints. Thanks for listening!
