Her research focuses on race and gender dynamics, self-motivation, joy resilience, and posttraumatic growth. She is the first black female-owned ICF-accredited coaching school in the world. Kamesha has 20 years of community-based research experience in her areas of specialization including race and gender-based stressors, the African-American experience, mental health, and suicidology.
