Tender curiosities:
- Can you climb down into this pit with me and ask, “What’s it like to be you down here?”
- Do you still recognize my wisdom, intuition, brilliance, and personal autonomy?
- Is it possible to build a bridge across this giant, gaping hole in my heart?
In grief, we often don’t know what we need, other than we don’t want to keep feeling it. What we need is made more complex by what we’ve been taught - this idea of grief support as rescuing someone who is damaged or wounded. But our journey can be honored with an intimate, gentle human connection, inside an unconditionally loving space, where our everydays are celebrated. We need your warm, non-invasive presence so we can experience the difficult sensations of grief and restore our balance and equanimity.
