So happy I stumbled upon this fabulous podcast! Fern is outstanding, I adore her laughter and her enthusiasm for all things grey gardens! This podcast is just a pure delight to listen to. Every guest is fascinating and fern is so gracious and. Curious with questions and discussion. By far my favorite podcast.! As a nearly lifelong fan of grey gardens- I sadly can’t remember my first watch, but I think I was around 11 or 12- my grandparents had the VHS tape, and I’m 31 now- this podcast has been life changing. Despite being a fan of the film, I didn’t know much about “the Edies” though I’ve always been deeply intrigued. I have always loved homes and gardens plus the history of it all just captivated me. The once beautiful mansion with the walled garden in elite East Hampton, vestiges of a gilded age family, the ebullient personality of Little Edie- all drew me in magnificently. This podcast is absolutely essential for any fans of GG and the Edies. Some guests are fans, simply put, others knew Edie personally or worked with her or on the film itself. All I can say is this podcast makes me laugh and brings me to tears. It has taught me so much I had no idea about, I love the history and research and the personal perspectives just as well. It is fascinating how everyone has their own take on the Edies, why Little Edie came back and chose to stay, etc. Fern is such a sweetheart and I’m devastated to hear of her cancer diagnosis - Fern, I’m rooting for you! My mother also has incurable cancer (breast cancer). She is doing well in treatment and it has been 4 years since the diagnosis. I wish my mother and Fern a very long and happy continuation of life. And Fern, THANK YOU for this podcast. The most recent episode with David Vass was especially touching- the interview was truly a work of art. Thank you thank you for everything.

I recently became a lover of Grey Gardens and the Edie’s. I searched the internet far and wide for more information about the Edie’s and stumbled across this podcast. I have only listened to a few episodes so far, (new subscriber) and I can feel the passion from Fern. I am also learning SO much from Fern and her guest. I 1000% recommend this podcast to any fan of Grey Gardens or Big n’ Little Edie 💗 Thank you, Fern. Keep doing what you’re doing 💓

Not for the longtime fan of the Edies, unfortunately. Disappointing.

If you can get past the first guest CONSTANTLY saying “okay?” After every single statement… it’s a great podcast, okay?

This podcast is fascinating! Fern has such interesting guests who have inside knowledge and friendships with the Edie’s. Love listening and Fern is a fabulous host!

Fern and her guests are always so lovely and informed, (after all these years there is always something new to learn) it’s like sitting down for a cup of tea with friends.

Thanks to Fern and her amazing guests I feel like I have an inside look into two of the most fascinating staunch women of our time. I really appreciate the respectful admiration expressed by all involved in sharing the story. I have learned so much and have a slew of new articles and books to read. As a recent but STAUNCH GG fan, I came away from the documentary wanting to know so much more about the Beale women. This podcast is such a great resource, and I love hearing others speak about the ladies with the same respect and fervor I feel. A wonderful listen!

I have found myself checking my new episodes feed weekly so anxious for what is new here and the episodes never disappoint! Have adored each episode that has taken on a new aspect or perspective into this incredible family and their home. I haven’t been to the Hamptons before, so anxious to visit, but almost feel like I have seen those white sand beaches through the stories and episodes here! I first learned of Grey Gardens through a reference in the show Gilmore Girls (ep. 56 and a few others!) ages ago and was immediately intrigued! Love this podcast as a new resource in learning more about these fantastic Edies!
