This edition of the GWCVR covers the latest heatwave plaguing the Eastern United States including Northwestern Middlesex County in New Jersey, and the possibility of severe weather later in the day.

Here is video of conditions along the Jersey Shore at four different locations as a storm pushed out to sea in Mid-June 2012. This particular storm system brought the bulk of rainfall that Central Jersey received in June 2012. In South Plainfield, this storm dumped almost an inch and a half of rain over most of two days. There was nearly four inches of rainfall for the month.

This video is from a second trip to Island Beach State Park in mid-June 2012. On this trip, I traveled all the way down to the end of the island, and walked on foot to Barnegat Inlet where I could see Barnegat Lighthouse on the northern tip of Long Beach Island. Saw some decent waves.

GWC compiled time lapse video of weather conditions in South Plainfield on June 25, 2012. This video contains a couple waves of thunderstorms that produced Severe Thunderstorm Warnings in Middlesex County during the day. The storms ended up only producing a little less than a half inch of rain in Northwestern Middlesex County.

GWC compiled footage of clouds from a departing thunderstorm moving offshore at both South Amboy and Keyport, New Jersey. The departing storm clouds combined with the sun for a fantastic sunset after several waves of severe weather rolled through Central Jersey on this late June day in 2012.
