Today, on the commemoration of Nakba Day, 15 May 1948, we bring you a reading of a letter from a Palestinian, Ali Rasheed Shaath, who migrated to Alexandria in the 40s, and due to the Nakba of 48, was not able to return to his home in Palestine. His granddaughter, Samar Amin Dowidar, will read her grandfather's letter and introduce her Oral History project; Palestinian Stories. The letter is translated and narrated in English by Mai Sarhan.
