Taking risks and making decisions is what adulting is all about at the end of the day... and maybe that's why I feel kind of "bleh" sometimes, because I don't make any decisions. After having an honest chat with my boyfriend, I had some revelations about life. Enjoy this episode!

Life isn't easy, no matter how much you prepare. In today's episode, I spoke with my good friend, Jessica Chanza, about healing from breakups, overcoming the pressure to keep up and compare your life with those on social media, and how to push through when you're struggling. This was a fun but informative chat that I enjoy recording. ENJOY!

Taxes aren't sexy... but they're important! In today's episode, I have a conversation with Twana Henry from the T&T group about what we need to know about taxes. Did you know that laptops, textbooks and other items purchased for your education are tax deductible? There are all things that most people don't know, but we need to know. Enjoy this episode and enjoy tax season. Also, at the end of the episode, she shares how young adults might be able to get the previous stimulus checks from Moneybagg Joe.

Everyone wants to be in a relationship, but no one really talks about the truth behind long term relationships though! Today, I talked with my friend, Bria Gamble, about her long term relationship (almost 4 years). We talked about the great times (and the not so great ones too), how to work through issues, family and SO much more. It's not common to find recent college grads in long term relationships, so I think you all will enjoy me and Bria's perspectives.

Today... we're talking about the Bachelor. I LOVE the show, but this season was pretty disappointing to me (even though I was rooting for Matt every single day). We talk about the bullying, the racially insensitive actions done by Rachael Kirkconnell, the beautiful women that were chosen for this season, the takeaways for young adults and SO much more.

today is a solo episode and I'm talking about some key learnings from the book "The Defining Decade" by Dr. Meg Jay. I finished this book in 2020 and I think that all 20 somethings and recent graduates should take some time to read this book. Here's a sneak peek into some of the topics/chapters I talk about: Identity Capital as a Young Professional - Weak Ties vs Strong Ties - Life looking better on Facebook & Instagram - Serious Relationships in your 20s - The Cohabitation Effect - The Importance of 'Being in Like' - Forward Thinking - and much more!!

This is part two of the the Good, the Bad, the Ugly & the Best episode, where I talk with my college bestie, Sian, about our college experience. This episode focuses on our experiences during junior and senior year, which had a lot of rough moments. Feelings of loneliness and being overwhelmed were prevalent during those times, but luckily we were able to push past that and end our senior year on a good note -- despite Auntie Rona forcing us to leave school early. It has been about 8 months since I graduated from college and I honestly miss it so much. Today's episode is split into two, mainly because Sián and I are talkers and have SO much to talk about. Sián and I became friends on the first day of freshman orientation in 2016, and we have stuck by either other ever since. Our relationship has matured and changed over the years, but that is what shows me that we will be lifelong friends, even if we aren't in the same regions of the country.
Part 1 is focused on our freshman year experience, Sián's experience with dating long distance in college, the struggles of having your friend group split up, and so much more. You're pretty much getting an inside look into our conversations, but I'm sure that you'll enjoy. Don't forget to listen to Part 2... it's already uploaded!
