This is the only Podcast I find myself regularly listening to. I’ve enjoyed Dr. Sander’s YouTube videos for some time now and have only recently discovered his podcast. A great source for both baby bats and elder goths. I love the sense of humor too.

charismatic, funny, thorough, insightfull...some other 5th thing that is a compliment. these two really love the Goth culture and do something i have not seen done in a while and that is make very well studied observations and comentary on goth movies, music and books, giving their own personal views on while also looking at the topic subjectively and respecting each others opinion ( even if they completely disagree), without being bland the playful banter is so refreshing 1000/10 would recomend. that was a run on sentence.

This is my favorite podcast, I love Dr. Sanders is funny and knowledgeable and I cannot recommend this enough.

I have listened to most of the music discussed in this podcast before but I've never put much thought into the history behind the music or in to the musicians behind the craft. This podcast is fantastic. I've learned things about the artists, discovered music I've yet to give a chance to and have developed a deeper respect for the evolution of the genres.

You don’t need to be a goth to enjoy this podcast as it is informative and interesting in the various films, music and bands it covers. Doctor Sanders is an insightful host and his co hosts (such as current cohost James and former cohost Robbie) are funny and give nice input and humour. The podcast is open minded and perfect for both newcomers and devotees of everything goth related.

I listened to some of The Cure episodes and these guys got a lot of details wrong. Word of advice to Sanders and Gore, list your sources. I have been a Cure fan since the '80's and you two came up with some stuff ive never heard and condricts things Robert has said himself in interviews. Also when reviewing an album they concentrate on the negative.

I love many style's of music from 77'to current times. I enjoy the deep dive on releases and tracks from so many of my favorite bands Dr.Sanders and Robbie Gore take the time to review. About an hour, a handful of albums typically chronilogical in nature love it.

If your a fan of underground gothic-darkwave bands this is a must listen. This seems to be the only podcast I've come across that gives credit & features lengthy discussions examining the work, & music from underrated bands like Christian Death, Rosetta Stone, Fields of the Nephilm, & even industrial artsist like Skinny Puppy & Ministry. Happy to have discovered these two guys.

The literal best goth music show anywhere, including youtube, podcasting, radio etc. The GothCast guys are insightful, well researched, and entertaining. Even a veteran will hear information they hadn't heard, and the person looking to get into music they hadn't considered will find a whole new dimension and appreciation of the genre.

I listen to this on my drive to work every day. Every episode is a gem. I especially liked the ones where they talked about The Cure. 10/10 you should listen for all your Goth needs.
