Issac and Peter Himmelman provide insightful and fascinating comments on songs they feel are good. No, they aren’t listing their favorite songs, or the best songs but songs they feel are good. The father and son team are clever, interesting and provide a view which is unique. This works on so many levels. Truly good stuff.

I’m grateful for this podcast. It feels like being invited into the Himmelman household and hearing their musical insights in person. It’s a treat. So far I’ve enjoyed the father and son pairing more than the songs. It’s good to discover there is more to Kanye that at first assaults the eye. I like ‘When Doves Cry’ but have never been as impressed with the lyrics. For years I thought it was ‘When Dogs Cry’ - which works nearly as well for me. Looking forward to the next installment.
