Good songs, Great podcast
Issac and Peter Himmelman provide insightful and fascinating comments on songs they feel are good. No, they aren’t listing their favorite songs, or the best songs but songs they feel are good. The father and son team are clever, interesting and provide a view which is unique. This works on so many levels. Truly good stuff.

Loving these…
“Beyond explanation” is a perfect explanation and just one of many. Do love the insights. Please keep these coming. NPR maybe MPR maybe The Current needs to pick these up for regular broadcast.

Wonderful
I love Peter and Isaac’s insights. Really helps me understand the structure and soul of songs in a whole new and wonderful way. I also love this duo! Clearly they’re a very close dad and lad pair.

Better than Good Podcast
Love the topic and the bite-sized length. So much info compacted each week. One question: Are you legally restricted from playing the whole song? And will you take requests? If so, consider anything by Jim Steinman z"l.

Wonderful dialogue
Made me miss you both. Love. Mary

A rare treat
I’m grateful for this podcast. It feels like being invited into the Himmelman household and hearing their musical insights in person. It’s a treat. So far I’ve enjoyed the father and son pairing more than the songs. It’s good to discover there is more to Kanye that at first assaults the eye. I like ‘When Doves Cry’ but have never been as impressed with the lyrics. For years I thought it was ‘When Dogs Cry’ - which works nearly as well for me. Looking forward to the next installment.
