In her early 20s, she entered a career in fashion surrounded by people who were barely eating. And slowly those poor eating habits and this stigmas around food turned into her own disordered reality when she developed anorexia. After being hospitalized, she began her road to recovery. As a writer she had a unique perspective, looking at all the distorted messaging society and the fashion industry were perpetuating and realizing people were being coerced into these unhealthy habits.
