Is Fortnite a good game? Shane is a turncoat, becoming a fan, and will die on the hill defending it. CJ rejoins the podcast to help DeVaughn debate that it's actually poo-poo garbage and should be put directly into a landfill.
Among our discussions this week:
DeVaughn covers the latest from Apex Legends' new season: Escape!
We argue for and against the legitimacy of Fortnite as a quality game, and who it's for.
Do narrative single-player games intrinsically provide more value than F2P multiplayer games?
How does Fortnite compare with Roblox?
Don't have time to listen? Skip to the end to hear an essential TL;DL summary that Shane edited for you!

This week DeVaughn and Shane catch up. Shane has finished dating all of the cute boys and girls in Boyfriend Dungeon, and has begun a descent into Hades. Shane couldn't help himself and did some serious learning about Fortnite's lore, and tries his best to explain it. DeVaughn got his first heirloom in Apex Legends, and gives some thoughts on it's battle pass and how it stacks up to other battle royales. Then we discuss Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the seasons, and Shane finally claims the real life victory royale and gets DeVaughn to play Fortnite.

The boys don their best Olympic outfits and tackle the issues at hand. Which is better: Bud Light Seltzer or Mike's Hard Seltzer? DeVaughn teaches Shane about Splitgate. Shane talks about seeing Ryan Reynolds in Fortnite, and how impressive the Ariana Grande Rift Tour was. The boys discuss pro gaming teams, and their owners which leads to the title question: will pro video game players ever find a spot in the Olympics? DeVaughn reads off a couple new reviews (thank you!), and blows Shane away with the news about the dapper boy Blastoise coming to Pokemon Unite. DeVaughn gives Shane an update on the state of Apex in Season 10, including how wildly it is growing on Twitch. The boys lament the news that we may be getting a GTA PS2 era remaster before we get Grand Theft Auto 6.
