Today episode was based off a chapter from Cicely Tyson book, Just As I Am. The chapter was called Unspoken. Ms. Tyson shared how she was not educated about her menstrual cycle or how a female becomes pregnant. She did what she told without any explanation. I feel that upsoken conversations that parents may avoid about sex needs to stop.
