But the production value is terrible. Volume spikes make it borderline unlistenable, which is a shame. Tom and his guests have good conversations about all things skiing; clean up the audio and this becomes a five star podcast.

I’m a ski instructor in Colorado always interested in personal ski improvement as well as improving as a teacher. I’ve had the privilege of skiing with Tom at the Rookie Academy in New Zealand and can vouch for his skill as a coach. The Global Skiing podcast proves he is a terrific interviewer as well! Tom has assembled an all-star group of interviewees from around the world and gets them to share their personal stories as well as delving into keys to what helps create truly expert skiing. His guests touch on everything from equipment to current technique to mental focuses. Every episode is both illuminating and entertaining. Global Skiing is a wonderful resource for anyone keen on the sport. (And yes, he interviews women, despite mistaken reviews from other folks.) Thanks, Tom!

What’s up with this podcast only interviewing men? Do we really need another podcast that so casually doesn’t involve women? Disappointing.

When I first saw this podcast I was excited... and then quickly disappointed to see it only features men. There are amazing women skiiers out there - please consider interviewing them!

Tom has created something that any ski junky will crave. His knowledge of biomechanics and physics of skiing, as well as the knowledge of his guests (mates) is inspiring. Give a listen and get ready to geek out harder and learn more about skiing than you thought you could in under an hour!
