The Bible records many times that two or three witnesses must agree on a certain point before it is said to be true. Some of these are: Deuteronomy 17:6, 19;15, Matthew 18:16, 18:19-20, II Corinthians 13:1 and I Timothy 5;19. The Bible gives three undeniable proofs of the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. 1. The enemies of God. 2. The creation of God. 3. The people of God. 1. The enemies of God include Pilate, Matthew 27:65, Luke 23:4, Matthew 27:23-24. Pilate's wife: Matthew 27;19. Perhaps the most telling is when the soldiers witness the resurrection but were given much money and told to spread it around that the disciples stole the body. 2. The creation of God also testified silently, in Matthew 28:2, by a great earthquake and an angel from God sitting on the stone, which was moved from the burial opening. Matthew 27:45 declares there was darkness over the land from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM. Matthew 27:51 states the veil of the temple was divided from the top to the bottom. Psalms 19:3-4 tells us that the even though creation cannot speak, their witness goes out all over this world. 3. The witness of the people of God. Matthew 27:52-53 speaks of physically dead individuals raising from the dead and going into the city and appeared to many. Matthew 28:9-10 records that Jesus told women to tell his disciples of a future meeting in Galilee. Matthew 16:9 tells of the first person who saw him, Mary Magadelene. Luke 24:13-35 speaks of two disciples on the road to Emmaus. God has given many witnesses of his resurrection, more than we can mention. God wants you to know his resurrection is real.

Nahum. Another preacher speaks against Nineveh. No more mercy this time. Habakkuk: The prophet complains about all that is happening and God gives His answer.

Scripture identifies one foundational element for all correct living: the fear of the LORD. Modern Christianity often replaces this with: Familiarity without reverence Comfort without accountability Knowledge without submission The result is instability. In Part 8 of "Calling Out Carnality," Keith Voyles preaches from James 4 about troubled fellowship caused by unchecked lust, envy, pride, and selfish ambition. He explains that outward wars begin with an inward war in the heart, and that carnal desires can divide homes and churches. The message calls believers to humble themselves, submit to God, resist pride, and depend upon the greater grace God gives to overcome the flesh. Primary text: James 4:1–10.

When Wisdom Gets Booed The central truth of this message is that wisdom is not merely recognized by what a person knows, but by how they respond to God's truth. Proverbs continually contrasts the wise and the fool. The wise fear the Lord, welcome His instruction, and gladly submit to His ways. The fool, however, "despises" wisdom—pictured by the Hebrew word as someone who "boos" or gives God's truth a thumbs down in disapproval. The message explains that many people reject God's wisdom, sometimes openly and sometimes quietly in their hearts. Like a crowd booing an official's call, they resist God's authority because they prefer their own way. This rejection is not an intellectual problem but a spiritual one. The issue is not a lack of information but a lack of surrender. Proverbs also teaches that believers must be careful not to become controlled by foolish people. We are called to speak truth with love, but we must remember that we cannot change a fool's heart—only God can. Arguments, pressure, or human effort cannot remove the darkness within. Only the new birth through Jesus Christ can transform a heart from folly to wisdom. The message encourages believers to remain shepherded by Christ rather than manipulated by the reactions of others. God's understanding becomes "a wellspring of life" for those who receive it, and every step of obedient faith leads to greater spiritual insight. Therefore, we are urged to "buy the truth and do not sell it," pursuing God's wisdom at any cost and then generously sharing it with others.
