GIO, that caller Elsa from 2035 is 10000% Miriam or whomever you had said made her last call a while back. Unless you can provide compelling evidence that would lead me to believe otherwise (even then I’d need to see a death certificate lol) I will never not believe that’s the same girl. She broke the role a few times and was forgetting to use the “little girl voice”. I also believe she was the one calling to say she was being abused by her grandfather and then was removed to a group home. Same breathy borderline personality disorder voice. I think it’s the Axis II in her voice that makes people’s blood boil. And the fact that Adam and drew fall for it every time! Great show!!

Great that they had spider from PM5k. Some of the "news" is very opinionated and was pretty incorrect even for 20 years ago. Such as misinformation about gwen and no doubt pretty much saying that nobody had heard about them in eight years. They released "rock steady" almost two years before this radio show. And by all accounts it sold very well and produced a few hits and singles albeit not being the same sounding as mid nineties "tragic kingdom". Adam corrolla sounds pretty racist even for twenty years ago making fun of american indians and "7/11 "indians. Also, the callers are total basket cases. They sound like actors and not real callers. also, not sure if this was originally a xm radio show or a very early podcast before anyone ever heard of one.

Brings back lots of memories.

I have listened to this podcast regularly for years now. I can’t recommend listening highly enough, especially if you grew up on Loveline. My only criticism is Gio’s depressing, intros. Still listen to this podcast and support his Patreon but skip forward a few minutes if you want to keep your chin up. Intros can be brutal and I would definitely prefer if they were more upbeat and positive or didn’t exist at all.

I appreciate Gio putting this all together but it’s probably time for a new theme song. I’m just glad I can mash the “skip forward 30 seconds” button twice when I start an episode and get past it and all the unnecessary cassette tape sound effects.

Obviously I love this podcast. Being 37 and sad that Adam is now scared to speak his mind on ACS, Gina and Bryan will scold him. There are some broadcaster voices I can’t stand like Gary Hoffman and Ricky Ratman, Stryker is on that list.
