In this episode, I spoke with Lindsey Metselaar, the host of We Met At Acme, one of the leading sex and dating podcasts in the lifestyle space. In addition to the podcast, she is the CEO of Lindsey’s Lunchbox, a social media food/restaurant consultancy. Given her passion for food, she started her own Instagram handle, better known as Don't Expect Salads where you can find almost anything but...salads.
We discuss butterflies and why they aren't necessarily a good sign in the beginning of a relationship, how there's no rulebook to when you decide to get vulnerable with someone, and all things astrology! You can find Lindsey here on Instagram.

In this episode, Jo and I discuss the difference between polyamory and non-monogamy. Jo tells me how she had a funeral for her husband's ex wife, aka herself. How we have ghosts of our past selves and that it's important to acknowledge our past and hold ceremonies for ourselves. She discussed how motherhood has changed her life and we also delve into how intuition is different for everyone, that not everyone can "listen to their bodies."
Jo Encarnacion is a sex, love, and relationship coach leading thousands of women down a path of radical self-acceptance and sexual sovereignty. She is the Queen of Messy Conversations, a coach, educator, and modern mama. She gives women the tools to step into their truth, honor their inner wisdom, and communicate from a place of courage and love. Her mission is to give women the power to heal the wounds that have kept them unfulfilled in their relationships and sex life. She is the Founder behind GOFITJO and a host of the podcast Nothing Confidential where she and her cohost have an open dialogue that educates, empowers, and makes the hard topics feels a little safer. You can find her on Instagram @gofitjo.

I've truly hit the jackpot, I was ghosted by the same person twice...
To celebrate the 25th episode of Ghosts of Dates Past, I've decided to record a little solo episode for you all. There's a new first date horror story for ya that happened to me recently as well as updates on my dating life, or dating woes, that have ensued this year. I discuss when it's okay to block someone, why you should keep your standards high, and if it's ever really too soon to meet the friends. I also talk about how important it is to listen to the universe and how sometimes you have to follow your own path, not necessarily the ones that are being presented to you.
If you want to learn more about me, I recently recorded an episode with the We Are Not Saints podcast, which you can find here. I also wrote an article for Mouthy Magazine all about SELFships, which you can read here.
I would love if you could subscribe, rate, and review this podcast and spread the word to your family friends, and former ghosters :p as it really helps the podcast grow!
