I absolutely love this podcast! I have been listening for years and it has gotten me through multiple life milestones including the birth of my daughter! Ron feels like a part of my family and going to one his shows has made it on my bucket list!

Podcast is full of positivity & laughs. While it’s funny because it’s Ron & friends it’s also nice to see comedian guests who are “not on” constantly and instead being vulnerable and talking about deeper topics like self growth, mental health etc. it’s very refreshing!

I just love this man. His heart and his attitude.

I was a casual fan of Ron Funches for a several years. His genuine and positive personality shown on my favorite podcast at the time, Professor Blastoff and whenever I saw him on other comedy shows I made sure to tune in. Then I saw he had a new podcast and it was about self improvement. Well the timing couldn’t have been better. I was newly sober curious and dipping my toe into the self help world for the first time in my life. Always skeptical of the woo-woo self help genre, I needed someone I was familiar with, someone I knew would make me laugh while helping me to get better. He has delivered. From the very first episodes where he was taking a break from cannabis and then slipped up and declared not to follow him, not to take everything he says or does as gospel. I was out on a walk, laughing hysterically, because I had relapsed too and this made me feel that I could come back from it. This podcast remains a true joy for me and this week it was the vessel that helped me openly weep for the state of the world and the loss of Chadwick Boseman - and then only seconds later I was cracking up again. Ron helped me understand we’re all flawed and we’re all just trying to get better and gettin’ better just means doing your best with what you have. Ron is such an inspiration to me, such a wonderful, caring human being and such a great father. This is my first iTunes review. That’s how much I love this podcast. Thanks for all the laughs, aspirations, and serious talk, Ron.

Best laugh in show business 💯

Ron seems like a very genuine guy when you hear him talk. He’s a guy who isn’t just putting out phony positivity to convince himself he’s okay, but a one who’s truly in a nice place in his life and puts out that positivity because it’s the way he truly feels-It’s very refreshing to hear these days. He compliments his guests in a very unique manner and it’s nice to hear how they react to such an honest, authentic and courteous opinion of them. Love Ron!

How did I not know that Ron Funches has a podcast until today, the third of August twenty-twenty!? 2020 has been an absolutely terrifying time and I have felt hopeless for years. This podcast is what I needed right now. I’m literally only 45 minutes into my first “Gettin’ Better” episode (you know that I skipped all the way to Nicole Byer’s episode 💅🏼) and I know I will be bingeing this entire podcast immediately. Ron is such a fresh breathe of positive air that I so desperately need. Honestly, I’m getting kind of emotional writing this. Thank you for being you, Ron.
