We have walked through Rest and Restore, and now we are going to tackle part three of this series on how we can do a hard reset when things simply fall apart! I don’t know about you, but some mornings, I have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Despite good intentions to start the day well, I end up running late getting ready, shouting at the kids, and feeling absolutely stressed trying to get out the door to work. The day has barely begun and I desperately need a do-over! Let’s explore together how we can Rise Up and Reset when our situation requires a fresh start! Hello Beautiful Beloved, welcome to part two of my three-week series on Rest, Restore and Reset.  This trio of messages was inspired by my recent journey of feeling exhausted after putting on a large women’s summit.   Though the event was amazing, and many women were blessed, I didn’t understand why after such an inspiring project I felt so spent!  As I searched my heart and spoke to God, I realized that we journey in seasons and cycles, and we need to pay attention to our physical and spiritual needs.  Just because we CAN do more doesn’t always mean we SHOULD do more! After a time of intense work, God has designed us to REST!  Then, after a time of REST, we need to see where our lives need to be replenished and restored. Today I want to talk about rising up in generosity.  For some of you wonderful ladies, you have the love language of giving gifts… it comes naturally for you to want to share and give gifts.  For others, like me it can be harder to want to let go of things.  It’s easy and in our human nature to ask, “What’s in it for me?” or to hold tightly to what we have.  However, we have to remember the generosity that God shows us, and the example Jesus sets for us.  When we choose to give and be generous in the way that Christ shows us, we begin to live in the amazing abundance that God has always intended for us.
