On May 1, 2020, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) published its 21st Century Cures Act final rule in the Federal Register, starting the compliance clock on numerous provisions for developers and organizations that offer certified health IT, healthcare providers, and certain health information networks and health information exchange entities.
