Nate Jensen, a member of the research team at the Northwest EvaluationAssociation, discusses the value of assessments aligned to the Common CoreState Standards and the misconceptions that accompanied the implementation of new assessments in some states. The group worked together to develop teacher-created lesson plans that have been vetted by national experts and are now being used by teachers nationwide.
