On today's episode of Get Deep Inside (@getdeepsinside) I speak with accountant/comedian Mike Spettel (@spike_mettel). We discuss what drove him to accounting, I guessed it had something to do with being Jewish, you will have to listen to find out. How he got started in comedy and then we get deep inside and talk about the heavier subjects, alcoholism. Mike was very open and honest about his struggle with alcohol and how just last year he started going into recovery. Surprisingly doing  a different drug known as DMT was what helped him get clean. I've never taken this drug but from all the people I've heard speak of this, it makes you really quit anything that you have trouble with whether it's cocaine or in this instance alchohol. If you are struggling or know you have an issue with alcohol or any drug this is the episode for you. It doesn't get realer and I admire Mike for this. 

On this weeks episode of the podcast Get Deep Inside (IG:getdeepinsidepodcast) I interview comedian, momma, Ashleigh Shapiro (IG:officialashleigh). We start of talking about where we met. Ashleigh and I were taking the same stand up class and we met through an email where we discussed carpooling to our semifinal comedy competition. Even though we had just met and were each others competition we rooted for each other and that is where this friendship began. We discuss all things comedy as well as being a mom and we talk about how she met her husband. It's a juicy story that will have you laughing. As the holidays were upon us we dived into a lot of food talk, make sure to eat because this episode will make you hungry. Hope you enjoy. On this weeks episode I interview comedian, actress, tv personality Stephanie Tejada (IG:stephanietejadaa). From being on the bad girls club to being a comedian her journey is very inspiring. We talk about her start in Florida, how her comedy led to begin on the bad girls club. We discuss the #metoo movement in comedy, writing jokes, how to market yourself, mental health, and how she sent her act to Deon Cole and then a very similar joke showed up on his new Netflix special.
