This book made me cry

I wish there was a manual on how to parent. Then there would be no mom shaming and we would all agree when our kids get together. However, where is the fun the in that? Lol I’m joking. I found this book I read about french parenting verrrryyy interesting. It’s called “Bringing Up Bebé.” This episode is alll about that book. I highly recommend to at least give it a shot and I don’t agree with everything in this book but there is a lot to take from and there is a lot you can leave too. Anyways, if you don’t want to read it you can just listen to my podcast where I talk all about how the French parent lol and mostly the worst things about American parenting. So basically I am comparing the best of French to the worst on American. Have that in mind that it’s not really a fair comparison but it is still something to consider or to supplement in how we parent here in the states. Cheers

Fall is the most beautiful season - these are the things I wanna do this fall

This list I still wanted to share even tho I wanted to share this much much earlier in the season. I hope you enjoy my summer bucket list of 2024!

What is your “END GAME” when it comes to your life? Have you thought about what you have been “called to” or what you feel needs to be accomplished in your life before you die? I have been thinking about this topic often for the past few weeks. There is a lot to unpack here. I hope you are here for it.

I started contractions at 4am 🕓. I stayed in bed and kept feeling like I had to go to the bathroom so I kept going to the toilet and I would turn on Anne of Green Gables. Finally the contractions got much stronger I needed to take a hot shower. I got out and went back to bed but I needed to take a hot bath 🛁 right after. So I sat in the tub watching Anne of Green Gables lol. Finally the contractions were sooo strong I had to go wake Caleb. He sat up all wide eyed when I said I was in labor!

Talking about several subjects and thoughts. It’s been awhile sister, let’s chat about it all. Oh yeah I also had a baby.

Why are some people drawn to you and why does it seem people don’t want anything to do with you?

Why is there such a high expectation on women in general then this elevated pressure on wives and moms? Today we will address this issue.
