Absolutely loved this podcast so amazing to listen to all these artists talk to George Ezra!

I found this podcast from just randomly today rediscovering how much I love George’s song Barcelona. I’ve listened to it on repeat all day loving the escape of it and the whole vibe with his voice feels like a warm hug warped in a sunny Sunday morning. Anyway, I searched for some interviews of him on YouTube and in listening to one I heard about his podcast. I really wanted him to have interviewed Ed Sheeran who is one of my all time favorite artists ever and to my surprise it was the very first episode! The thing I love about George and Ed is their ability to just be authentically themselves, through their music and through conversation. I connect so much with their music because it’s a representation of who they are. I feel like this podcast is an extension of that where they get to share with us the authentic conversations they have about their love of music and why they do what they do! Thank you George for being you and for serenading my ears all day! Its made me smile and be light hearted in this hard time of covid-19. Keep being you!!

I’ve been trying to find new podcasts to listen to but it’s pretty hard for me to find ones that I like. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this one! I haven’t listened to many of the episodes because I'm not familiar with a lot of the guests and I’m only really interested in listening to ones of people that I know. The Shania Twain episode was the reason I subscribed and the first one I listened to and it was FANTASTIC! I really appreciate how George does his research and has great questions/comments, but my favorite thing about him is that he lets his guests talk for a long time without interrupting them. I can’t wait to see who else he will interview!

One of the best Shania Twain interviews I’ve listened to. You asked really good questions (you’ve done great research on her - I know all your points of reference) - her beauty, talent, humility, humor, honesty, her story, are very inspiring. It is evident that she is more relaxed now, happier, and enjoying herself - and we’re happy to see her like that. George artfully engages in dialogues with many inspiring figures from the music industry. This podcast is a great way to find new inspiration, learn about what motivates highly successful people working in creative mediums, and enjoy hearing about a diverse range of experiences. Especially great for Geoff fans, but this is by no means a requirement to enjoy the show!

Discovering this podcast has been a joy. Hearing a new artist, George, interview veterans like Tom Jones and Elton John and then Ed Sheehan or S Smith produces some of the more revealing and genuinely interesting stories of their careers. I love Elton John, seen and heard many interviews with him but this is the first one that seemed the most grounded and revealing. A musician interviewing musicians about their restive process is very interesting for any creative person to hear. The genuine generosity of time and admiration the guests have for George comes through too.

I love George and this podcast! I think because George Ezra is a musician himself, he asks questions that get his guests to open up and share their perspectives in ways that we wouldn't normally get from them. It's fun, informal, but also deep.

As a musician myself, I am drawn to podcasts that reveal something about the process and lift the veil to let you inside. Some of the best (Song Exploder, Sodajercker on Songwriting) succeed in doing that, this Podcast is one of them! George is honest, warm, real & candid. It wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine him being an old friend. He reaches out and brings you into his world with little need for fanfare, but with a view to always illuminating. It was refreshing to find that his “interviewing” style is very much like his music, straightforward, unmannered & natural. I have enjoyed every episode and I look forward to more and seeing where this goes. I don’t doubt that the access that George’s “star power “ brings will continue to open the door to interesting artists both new and seasoned. I’ll be along for the ride. Cheers George!

If you love music you will really enjoy hearing George and all of the artists speak about their experiences. The vibe of this podcast is happy and relaxing! I just love it!

These interviews are excellent. One musician talking to another about their work. Everyone sounds like they’re having a good time. And he gets terrific guests too.

I think I might be sold on podcasts now. The discussion was breathtaking. I found myself captivated and nodding along in agreement. The musician-to-musician conversation was amazing and exactly what is so desperately desired in this industry. As die hard music fan and dedicated fangirl I would much rather sit down and listen to my favorites have a heart to heart conversation about things they love, than listen to another plain ole interview where the same questions are asked a thousand times. Well done, GE. Hope to hear a lot more! X

George Ezra is an amazing conversationalist. He is so generous and complementary of his guests. He has one of the easiest voices to listen to I’ve ever heard. There’s nothing flashy about this podcast, and there absolutely doesn’t need to be; it’s so simply humble and interesting in its own right. I’m fascinated with the music industry and the processes and practices of artists, but even if you’re not George’s conversations and stories are a delight anyway. Hope to hear series 2 soon!
