Hey there! We took an unexpected break in November (just a lot going on) and we are back. This episode was actually recorded in November; admittedly this was a hard one for me (Erica) due to my history with body image and an eating disorder. Please be advised that we discuss that in this episode if that is a subject that is hard for you to hear about. We hope you enjoy this episode and we will be back with more!

This week we talk about holidays and what they mean to us! There are some traditions that we uphold and some that we don't, but it was a fun conversation to have. This was recorded on 11/11, so naturally we spent the first few minutes talking about the U.S. Presidential Election as well and the wild ways that it has unfolded thus far.

Since this is getting posted election week (admittedly we have both been so glued to results and the news that it is going up a couple days late), we decided to do something a little lighter; Erica did an AMA with Nate and he was able to ask her whatever he wanted. The result was fun and humerous, and we hope that it is a little respite from everything that is going on in the US and the world right now.

In this weeks podcast, Erica and Nate discuss the upcoming Presidential election. They get into their thoughts about the canidates, the importance of voting, voter suppression, how they felt in 2016 after the election, and more.

This week we get into our thoughts about Covid and the pandemic in general, and also a little bit about how it has affected our lives. We dedicate this podcast to Erica's husbands Aunt Wanda, who sadly passed away from Covid on October 17th. We really go in (especially Nate) but please take this virus and pandemic seriously.
