A must, hear for yourself
I can’t stop listening, this is so weird for me because I’m not mixed but somehow I understand what they went through or are going through because some how I went through it too. I always got the question of “what are you?” This show has me really thinking now of things I just had suppressed and now look at from a different perspective.

This is good stuff!
It’s so comforting to listen to these conversations! As a mixed ethnic person myself, I feel less alone hearing these stories. I also admire the vulnerability Jolie and her guests are willing to share. It helps me realize that these feelings of both pride and confusion, love and alienation in regards to identity are far more common than the larger culture lets on. Hurray for this podcast!

Listen to this
I loved this podcast and hearing the different parts of the timeline of Jolie’s life growing up being bi racial because I can relate being a biracial mixed child also with a white mother and a black father.
