KD

In this Episode of Gems with KD, I just wanted to take a trip down memory lane a revisit a topic that I had previously covered in the earlier days of this podcast. The idea of 5 vs 50 came to mind when thinking about past relations that I had with individuals that had ill intentions toward my future. I've found that intuition and discernment are two very powerful factors that should be allowed to influence who we let into our inner circle, however, often times we choose to ignore our intuition because of history or promises that are made. Whoever is for you will always be for you. Don't stress too much about those individuals that are no longer apart of your life. You may not know it right now, but it might just be for the best.

In today's episode of Gems with KD, I wanted to use the time to go over my year and how it affected me mentally, from the death of my grandma to the complete failure of my final year in university. I am being transparent with you all because I want you to know that although I post a lot of motivational quotes and videos on my Instagram page (KDpersonaldevelopment), I still struggle with many things during day to day activities. I want this to serve as a testimony for the masses that struggle with mental health issues and don't know how to seek help. Watch me overcome my inner demons and be encouraged to do the same. You are not alone in this fight!

In the first installment of gems with KD, I basically delve into the mental struggles that I have been facing concerning my ability to perform at the highest level. I hope you all find something that you can relate to in this episode and just know that you are not alone.
