First off, let me say that I was an avid listener to this podcast for years! I listened every week, it was one of the highlights of my week but it has just been going downhill the last couple of years. There is just no longer the chemistry between the panelists that there once was. I use to listen to it cause I love geek culture and I knew I get a couple good chuckles but now it’s almost unlistenable. Everyone tries so hard to be funny and get jokes in about every topic and it’s so painful and cringy to listen to.

Great fun show to geek out to when you some geeking out time!

Avid listener of podcasts here, and while there are times when this one does off the rails from time-to-time, it’s always worth the ride. Open to all, entertaining for most. Geekshow says hey!

GSPC is one of the best podcasts out there, regardless of genre. It has shifted over the years in panelists and in discussions, yet delivers information and entertainment equally each time.

Shannon needs some new stories instead of the same 4 he tells once an episode… and also interrupts to tell said stories.

I love it when they do the thing and then they have to get back on topic

Used to be entertaining but not anymore

The first hundred episodes were funnier than what came after. But check in annually to see how this long run final destination scenario is playing out.

I have been listing to Geekshow since my college days and have always looked forward to their new episodes and going through their older stuff. I am Utah local so having a podcast about my fav things and the community the show has created here has been a great impact in my life. More about the show: If you like geek news and laughs for the beginning of you week please listen. They educate you on the old geek culture and share their opinions on the new geek culture. So if you are an old or new geek you they have a bit of something for everybody. Also a subpar murder podcast.

But give it a listen because you will.

The episodes are pretty good, they used to be better. But the good stuff is on their patreon. SHANNON BARNSON, the elementary school teacher of the program, drinks like he is in competition. He doesn’t know how to keep his mouth shut and let the other members finish their thoughts. Often he is just repeating what he already said or the joke someone else said 5 seconds before. His drinking is ruining the show that I’ve listened to for the past 11 years. Kerry, you should do a show where everyone tries to out Shannon Shannon and don’t tell him about it. The podcast is worth a listen if you are a lazy entertainment news follower but still want to be in the know

Despite that that, this is one of my favorite podcasts. Leigh’s talk of budgets, Kerry getting uncomfortable with talk of male members, Jay’s disgustingly bright side attitude, Rebecca’s relatable millennial references, Tony’s shocking revelation of his peens color change, and last but not least, Shannon confirming he’s the male version of a slightly older me. This cast has it all and it’s been a lifeline for me through this. Thanks for making me laugh when all I want to do is cry 🖤

If you cant stop eating blueberries or painting miniatures then this show is for you. Bring your internet role playing games and your vodka, its going to be a real hamfest!

I’ve been listening to this podcast for years. All my friends that I used to geek out with have moved so these people have become my surrogate friends. I honestly love them so much. This podcast has helped me through some rough times where I need to hear some people talk about things I loved. Give Geekshow a try, you wont find a more sincere group of guys and women. Thanks. It’s crazy to think how much has changed with the geek community in that amount of time, but it has. The panelists have changed, too. Not just literal changes, but each has grown and developed through their experiences, tragedies, and love for each other. This sounds like a tag line for some movie written by Nicholas Sparks. Kerry and the rest are great guys and I look forward to hearing them and experiencing things with them each week.

Good podcast with good guys. It’s just hard to listen to now a days because they always mix in “white privilege” talk and other pandering speak. Just speak movies and news. It’s so hard to even get through an episode. They rail against people who have a different opinion than theirs by saying that it’s ok to have an opinion. I’ve been listening for 5 years now and am on the fence about listening more. They’re often times positive but the go off on these tangents that are overplayed and boring.

A pioneer of the podcast, these guys always deliver. Thanks for putting your passion into this for all of us

I followed this podcast for 10 years, finally had to give it up because it was becoming more and more of a show about politics and oppressed life in Utah rather than a show about geeks news and culture. Most of the hosts also drink heavily during the show, which I don’t think is a part of being a geek. Found myself more often than not skipping through large portions of the show that just did not interest me, and that was the time to leave. At one time this podcast was a place I could escape all the crap in the world, then it became the same as watching the nightly news.

A great podcast on many things geek-related, and other random musings by the panelists on other topics. Well worth a listen. It's been around for years, and the ideas are still fresh and topical. With sincere enjoyment of the popular surge in geek media.

They talk about everything fun and entertaining. We need to get them more support! I love these guys and occasional ladies, they’re not afraid to get a bit emotional and I love that. Let’s start getting them some more ratings so they don’t go away! Thanks for all you do!

Genuine friends genuinely discussing their love of all things geek.

I love this show. But some of the panelists are so hard to hear. While others are too loud. But by far the best “geek” podcast out there.

I've been listening for 7+ years. I'm not sure when it started but slowly I things changed or I justed noticed it. After Ghostbusters flopped some in the group couldn't get over it and talk about every single episode for almost a year. They became "those geeks". It is mostly light-hearted and wouldn't miss an episode before. But I come for the geek stuff, not the heavy handed delivery of social issues valid or not. Ghostbuster was bad get over it.

Informative when they aren't drunk or crying.

These guys love what they do and it shows. Each member brings something separate to the table and offers a new perspective on pop-culture, news, and general geekdom. If you're a fan of the status quo, or marginalization of your fellow man, this isn't the podcast for you.

I have been listening to this podcast religiously for years now, and it never gets old. I look forward to new episodes and the dynamic of the show makes it really feel like the listener is included. The guys do a great job of making you feel included and like they've known you for years. And the listening community are great people too. GSSH

1/3rd geek/comic/sci-fi pop culture podcast, 1/3rd angry political bile, 1/3rd a bunch of dudes getting drunk in some guys basement. If you have an unlimited amount of time and patience it's worth a listen. If you don't iFanboy is a much better podcast.

Very enjoyable show to listen to before or after work.

My favorite podcast for all things geek. The host let their geek flag fly without being harsh or judgemental. They just love the geek world we are in today.

I had to scroll through some s*itty reviews to see what's up. Y'all can be as*holes. This is a 5 Star minimum podcast. If you don't like it, please take your patronage elsewhere and purchase some Old Spice extra strength along the way.

I love this show. I listen to podcasts instead of musical at work so I listen to around 20 shows per week. This is the only one that I eagerly expect every week and get upset when it's late.

I've been a fan since forever, and I guess I just assumed I had already written a review. Why wouldn't I have? I love this show. But apparently I didn't, so here is one now. If you are a fan of nerd culture without taking it too seriously, boy howdy is this the show for you. It's an appreciation of everything geek without the sneering internet fanboyedness of it all.

Been hearing the guys for almost 4 years now. Never a dull moment when they get started and very entertaning.

Gets 2 stars instead of 1 because these guys do know what they are talking about and live the lifestyle; there's just no entertainment in the show. I think these men must be joyless hulls going through the motions of having a passion for something in life.

When are they going to talk about geek stuff? I don't know. Lots of digression. This show never gets anywhere.

I've been listening for about a year and a half, and as much as I enjoy the informational content of the show and love the geek banter, today I am unsubscribing. I can't take Shannon anymore. On the latest podcast "Epi-fella" he was talking over everyone, which made the movie review miserable, among other segments. It felt like he had a caught One-Uppers disease. It's been a good ride and thanks for the memories.
