These past few weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster to say the least. At one point, my feelings were so intense that I just decided to write down all of my thoughts and experiences when it comes to racial inequality/injustice in America. I also ended the episode with a short letter that I wrote to myself and every black girl/woman that will listen to this episode. This episode is for everyone to just stop and listen and hopefully realize that your voices are powerful and to keep fighting in this movement. All lives will not matter until Black Lives Matter.

Listen in on a funny and exciting conversation with me and a few of my girlfriends from college about societal pressures that we deal with as women in our early twenties. We talk about quite a lot including the pressures of being financially stable, social media, and dating. I hope that this episode will remind you that you are enough and that you do not need society to dictate when and how your own life should be lived.

Another day, another week, all of my days are morphing together into one big, mess of thoughts that I need to get out. This is just an update on how I’ve been feeling these past few weeks and maybe a little rant on how tired I am of living the same day over and over. I have also thought of some ways to keep things interesting, and found a list of positive affirmations that help me stay sane and hope that it can work for you. I hope you enjoy this episode of randomness and positivity.

While we are still in quarantine and practicing social distancing, I decided to use this time to catch up with some old friends. I will be catching up with a really good friend of mine Mariah Clayton who is currently Miss Louisiana USA and we clearly have a lot to talk about since we’ve last hung out. Listen in on our candid convo about life after college, being a student-athlete, Mariah’s path to becoming Miss Louisiana, keeping God first, and everything in between!

Nothing like social distancing from COVID-19 or the Rona to make me get back into the groove of this podcast! This episode I will talk about my feelings about this crazy moment in time we are currently living in, and how that has shaped my mindset about my life. During this time, I am figuring out what's important to me and trying to figure out a way to be my best self once this is all over with even while stuck in my apartment. Enjoy!
