This is a great show for anyone who wants solid info without a bunch of nonsense talk. Brad gets right into the meat and potatoes of the topics without serving you all of the time filling appetizers. Plenty of advice for beginners to experienced outdoorsmen/ women. Sample some topics and have a listen for yourself.

This show is great for someone like me who is trying to get into hunting. Brad Luttrell is one of those rare people like Joe Rogan or Steven Rinella who is obviously pro hunting and pro guns but also has very thoughtful and nuanced ideas and discussions about other topics as well. This show along with his other podcast Restless Native is well worth a listen

Before Gearbox Talk the only way I knew how to hunt was to slather myself in mud and hide in a hole with a big heavy stick and try to bonk a deer on the head. To camp, I dug an old tarpaulin out of a dumpster behind the Burger King on hwy 55. Fishin? A disaster, I would wade into the shallows and try to grab them with my hands. I’m too slow for this!
