Show notes
Episode #60. Greensboro-based T Walker and Doggie Paddle both demonstrate what it means to live a passion-driven life.
T Walker is not only a poet and rapper, he operates (with his brother Born King) a youth-empowerment non-profit that produces events to showcase the visual and performing arts talent of young people: Soul Society. SOUL stands for Support, Opportunity, Unity, and Leadership. On this show, he performs Cherish.
Folk/indie band Doggie Paddle blends the beautiful harmony of Jessie Dunks and Bella Snyder with the rich percussion of Nate Schockley. Here, they perform three originals, 1) Rather, 2) Paint ("if these walls could talk, they'd be on my side") and 3) Catch Up. (Date: 9/27/19)
