This is one of my favorite podcasts but I wish you guys would update it more often

Love the podcast. Been following since pandemic. Would pay for Patreon 👀

Surprised this only has 16 reviews

I stumbled upon this podcast simply through a search for video game coverage, and I am really loving it. They provide more intelligent content than a lot of more “professional” podcasts, and I agree with another reviewer that they really have the format down pat, with a general discussion of some video game topic at the top, followed by some well researched background info on the game of the day, followed by a preview that they recorded before replaying the game, followed by a retrospective after replaying. It really works well, their chemistry is great, and it’s a really informative and satisfying listen. I only wish that I had played more of the games they cover (I did more old school PC stuff and was never a console platformer so our Venn diagrams only sort of intersect), but I’m happily enjoying the ones I do know and will probably delve into some of the interesting sounding ones that I don’t.

The formula for each episode definitely works! I love the detail discussions about the games, and the stories about personal experiences with the games keep it up! (I originally found the podcast because I listened to a different podcast about super Mario RPG and they were really vulgar – I tried looking for another podcast with super Mario RPG, and found GWGW, and now I’m hooked)

The person you are thinking of his name was stauf he was a toy maker the guests name was Dalton genieve Thad

This show has been great, not just for the nostalgia of remembering games I played growing up, but also for learning about games that I missed that I kind of want to seek out and play.

Love this Podcast, hearing you two share stories of your childhood days playing games together is great and the brother sister dynamic is refreshing and unique. Please stay around podcasting for many years!!

A pair of super fun hosts, games I spent way too many hours playing as a kid, a bunch of new info about them, and good conversation as they go. A great listen for anyone who loves gaming, especially if you did it in the 90s!

Remember your favorite game you played a thousand times back in high school? They talk about it on this podcast! I grew up playing video games, but after college I couldn’t keep up with them anymore. So this podcast is the ultimate nostalgia. I love it so much. So listen and enjoy!

Like fire and ice taking over the whole world. This is a fun podcast that is full of much needed nostalgia and takes me back to simpler times. Looking forward to seeing what games they choose to review.
