I have been looking for a new gaming news podcast, and I thought this could be the one. However it’s easy to hear in the last five episodes; that, hard numbers and actual facts are ignored over feelings. Also if you have and opinion that is different or difficult to hear; than the hosts, then you are a bad person… apparently.

Used to talk a lot about game news and new releases and stuff like that but as time went on it’s gotten quite political and even as a liberal myself I find it quite off putting. Especially when they highlight things like the Microsoft boycott but don’t actual do it themselves, just mentioning the boycott and then continuing to support Microsoft just makes you look like a shill. Just pick a side guys and actually stick with it, or go back to games talk I don’t care which one you choose. As a side note, they do to bash AI in a way that makes it clear they’re never actually used it and are living in 2015. I don’t agree with AI replacing artists but to completely ignore how good it is at what it does is disingenuous at best and at worst naive.

Love Grubb, but every time Lexi is on the show you knows there’s going to be at least 20 minutes of “let’s bash Xbox.”

I love Jeff and Giant Bomb. This show is fine. Lately though, analysis has just been that CEOs are bad, AI is bad, Microsoft is bad. This may be true, but when every topic comes back to these points, the show gets tired fast, especially when the topic is irrelevant to these three things. I would prefer a more diverse rotation of guests instead of the same handful that just share Jeff’s opinion.

Radical political ideology has destroyed this show. They seem to hate the USA like most radicals. Show is utter rubbish as is their inane attitude.

Since giant bomb went independent, the ads rack up - for casinos, scams, and other unethical businesses. On top of this, the news analysis seems less deep than ever. “Gamers are dumb” and “CEO’s are dumb” seems to be the takeaway over and over again. I miss when Grubb talked more about the industry and motivations on a level that I would have never considered. He’s a smart guy but I feel like this show went on autopilot.

Grubb keeps me up to date on gaming even though he has to take care of his gimmicks and Mitch daily.

GMM is a daily listen for me. It is THE best way to catch up on video game news.

Grubb been cooking since he got messy. Best vibes, best news, best insight, great guy. Love it!

Man I loved Jeff Grubb for years but this is essentially just far left moaning and complaining talking about how awful life, capitalism and America is and simping for jihadis and communism. People with no scars praising the knife. Like all going bomb content now it’s divisive politics and not video game related at all. People like Jeff and his edge lord soulless guests are why Trump won and we should blame them for it. Frees up a lot of my time to better my life and my families life so thanks for that I guess.

More time is spent on political commentary than games. Please keep this a tight show focused on games and less about politics.

I was looking for a daily gaming news podcast that was informative as well as entertaining, and this hit the bullseye. I feel like I get an authentic perspective that’s knowledgeable and doesn’t feel influenced by big corp. this has become my trusted source for all gaming news

How on earth is this podcast rated clean ? I don’t mind profanity here and there but Lex is dropping F bombs multiple times a sentence.

Love Jeff and his enthusiasm. Just wish he could get co-hosts that do not sound like they are on the verge of a nervous breakdown. You play video games for a living, people, cheer up!

Grubb rules

For me has taken the best gaming podcast spot from the Bombcast. Great show.

It’s largely a throwaway show. The analysis frankly isn’t that great. I find Easy Allies to be a better podcast series if you’re looking for more informed analysis.

I’m brand new to podcasts, and these guy are definitely an easy listen.

This new format is fantastic and a welcome addition to the daily video game news shows. Lots of great insight you don’t get on other daily news shows when they have a bad host. Always love to hear Grubbs POV and Jan has been a great cohost.
