Adios Bulwark - Hello Central Air
I used to be a paid subscriber to The Bulwark, but over time it started drifting too far left for my taste, especially with some of the newer voices they were bringing on like Cam Kasky. It stopped feeling like independent analysis, so I canceled and moved my subscription dollars over to Central Air instead. So happy I did. Keep up the great content!

Let your guests speak
The constant interrupting of your guests is insanely rude & irritating. I’d love to listen to more interviews but can’t stand the hosts. Next.

Seriously, Tim
I listen to everything you all put out including bulwark takes. Could you possibly stop deriding your women listeners? If you can’t help but pigeon hole us maybe don’t reference we fans at all?

Stop breaking the flow with pointless comments. Early episodes were better. Try emulating Tim! He listens! His commentary doesn’t wreck the convo every time!

Knocked it out of the ballpark! Fabulous interview! As a boomer this was an incredible looking glass into today’s beliefs and attitudes of the younger generations. Thanks guys. Really enjoyed it Bulwark super fan

AOC Episode
Listening to these two is like eavesdropping on a conversation between a big brother and little brother too many years apart. Tim is condescending and on point while Cam just keeps plowing away with whatever point he’s attempting to make. It would be endearing if both had the charisma to pull it off. Unfortunately only one of these characters has the charisma to overcome his sometimes grumpiness while the other is still preoccupied with describing in detail sleights that occurred in high school. But it is entertaining.

Entertaining but
Call me a snowflake, but the “robot racism” bugs me. I think saying cruel things in situations without consequences strengthens pathways that make it easier to be cruel in general.
Also, it distracts from the very real problems that the anger against robots represent? Like hey you’re mad at tech magnates, not the tool.
Also, listening to it feels disturbing in the exact same way that listening to discrimination in a half understood foreign language does.
Clanker was light hearted and I hate the ai slop as much as anyone, but like.. idk man you’re humanizing the robot to dehumanize it. And it’s gross

Moral Clarity
Thank you for consistently making the case for having a clear understanding of what we accept as a society. That IS the bulwark against illiberalism and extremism of all stripes. Again again again!

2 elitist gun grabbers despite having their own armed security
Cam is able to monetize being a “victim.” Good for him. Extremely arrogant, great at making everything about himself.
Tim has been running in the DC bubble for so long, he’s out of touch and can only relate with other “media elites.” Nonetheless he can be funny sometimes.
I wouldn’t waste your time with this.

Would defs go on a date with Cam, you’re too handsome. You showed up on a video podcast I watch and I always listed to FYPod in my headphones so I forgot how 😳 Cam is 🥵😅🫣 but I have a Labubu 💀

This episode warmed my 🤍 & gives me hope for Gen Z. Don’t stop *showing up IRL* for your peeps - we need your voices!!

amazing show
I love the show . Not sure about having some of these obviously unwell guests. I would stick to the amazing friends of Cam that I , a gen x , haven’t heard of . Guys with internet law enforcement experience, undocumented far right extremists , and anti elitists that went to Harvard Westlake , not so much.

At first, not a fan of the kid… but he grew on me… I get that I’m technically not the audience at 45, but hey, I’m what ya got. These shows are enjoyable

Bill and Cam!
I loved the episode with Bill and Cam! Zoomer Boomer or Boomer Zoomer, the discussion what great! As a Boomer growing up in Washington DC in the 60’s, I have never thought about how much more in common we have with the Zoomers who came out of the gate with 9/11 as we did with a presidential assassination. I hope there are more of these conversations with these two (love you too Tim). I just want to say that I am happy to see Cam have a platform for his voice. I have watched he and David Hogg emerge from a terrible tragedy and grow into very strong men with an important perspective and insights to become leading voices for this generation. More Bill and Cam please!

Bill Kristol and Cam are a great pair!
I love the banter and chemistry between Tim and Cam, but I must say that Bill and Cam are charming together on the latest episode. Their generational
musings are insightful. I hope we will hear more from Bill and Cam together in the future.

Sorry
Tim Miller is my favorite persons to listen to from Bulwark So it bothers me that he comes off like an old grumpy grandpa on a lot of the episodes of this podcast.

Interviewers, Step Up…At Least Share the Stage with Your Guests.
I only watched one episode #34 with Aaron Parnas. I honestly only watched as long as I could take it. I had been looking for stuff related to Aaron after running into some info on his content taking on (at least in spirit) the Voice of Walter Cronkite, indicating some level of objectivity. While I doubt complete objectivity can be a reality conceptually, I resonated to Aaron Parnas’s voice.
I was also slightly informed on his story via the 2024 documentary “To Russia with Lev” (I recommend.)
The tone of the podcast interviews was a mismatch with guest Aaron Parnas. Questions were attempted humor…
-Rudy’s been to your house? Before or after the dripping hair dye photo?
-Have you met Trump? Looking for a picture of you and Trump…
While stories of his father Lev are relevant to his backstory, the ways Aaron is using his voice (via Stack?) is uniquely informed and engaging. No surprise his audience is growing.
The podcasts share the stage with guests.
I gave three stars due to guest quality.

Tim terrible host
I like the OP ther Bulwark shows, but Tim is a very BAD host who only seems interested in himself talking. His guest was interesting but Timmy wouldn’t let him say much. I cannot take anymore so today I’m no longer following this show.

Cam and Tim are a great team
This is where Tim Miller is his best, when he is bouncing off of someone else riffing on politics and pop culture.
GhostfaceRob216
Cam is…. Hard to listen to.
Cam isn’t built for podcasts. He needs to be a radio announcer. He needs a job where listening is not at all required. He talks way too much. I hate Chuck Todd for the same reason — Cam is the GenZ Chick Todd, with no experience in anything. Also - he had a horrible experience as a teenager. Okay. But enough. Maybe talk about that at a counseling session? It may be your whole view of the world. But it makes me really over you.

have a take it's not a hot take
I have to say,
First of all, Tim, if I ever come to New Orleans, I'm buying you a drink. I don't even drink, and I'm buying you. I'm buying you something more than likely, and Cameron, you are the goat. I have a why are we still playing with this man lie?
I don't get it. Why are we still playing with this man gave They gave him immunity, they can take it away. So we can't take it away from him, and the things that he's doing arguably can't even be called legal, much less in the line of his duties as president, these are in the line of his duties as him,
The grifter and chief.
Also, that phrase speaking truth to power does not care that it's like we need to speak truth to the people who think that they are powerful, listen to what they are hearing, the truth. I hate that phrase, speaking truth to power, power already knows that line, why are we speaking to it???

I’m a boomer and I love this show
Loved the episode with Ed Elson. Take his advice and invest in a S&P fund, the earlier the better. Unfortunately life can be boring and involve getting a job.

Bad Editing
I enjoy the show, but your editing is rough. Work in breaks for ads, don’t just have them jammed in mid-thought/discussion.

Solid show
Being on the right means being willing to risk the biscuit. It’s time to accept that the Bernie wing was/is right. Accept it, move along.

Parent of Gen Z loves the show.
I purposely listen to this show when my kids are in the car. A couple weeks ago a reference was made about someone I had never heard of. My 17 and 14 year old sons both yelled and looked at each other and said they couldn’t believe a show their mom was listening to was so socially relevant to them. It’s a huge win for the mom that wants to better understand our younger generation and their views AND get my young men to pay attention. They now look forward to listening to your shows too.

Love it
Not gen z or a boomer but I love this podcast and I love the dynamic between you two. Tim always willing to listen and learn and concede and Cam holding yourself accountable but not being afraid to stand your ground. We need more fyi pod!

Perfect Show for a Gen X mom and teacher
I didn’t even realize that this was the podcast that I needed. I teach in a public school in the South for 20 years. Reaching my white young men has gotten so much harder in the last several years. I am not exaggerating when I say that this show has helped me refocus my Civics classes from solely focusing on righting injustice to reengage my students with each other and their world.
Tim Miller would also be thrilled to hear that my classes regularly write Senator Tillis to gently remind him to use his spine.

That’s just crazy
Why is it so crazy that some people want to have kids, your cohost has kids. The boy on this show has a lot of growing to do since he thinks that people who want children are idiots.
Don’t want a nick name.
Excellent for those wanting to understand younger Gens
I am a Gen X mom- I am probably not the typical listener so I am not looking to be entertained but rather learn about younger gens and the issues they are facing and their view of the world. I’ve learned so much. The guests are incredible and are glimmers of hope for our country. Excellent pod, thanks guys!

10/10 MUST LISTEN
I absolutely LOVE this podcast. It’s exactly what is needed and the hosts bring a perfect blend of passion, wit, and intelligence, offering sharp analysis on the issues that matter most to younger generations. What sets this podcast apart is its ability to break down complex political topics without talking down to the audience, making it accessible yet thought-provoking.
The show does an incredible job of connecting political events to the lived experiences of everyday people, particularly those in the Gen Z demographic. Whether it’s tackling climate change, social justice, or digital activism, the hosts don’t shy away from tough conversations and always encourage critical thinking.
But it’s not just the content that makes this podcast stand out—it’s the energy and authenticity of the hosts. They are well-informed, but they also know how to keep things real and relatable, never coming off as preachy or out of touch.
10/10 MUST LISTEN

Loved the Gen Z Girl Gang podcast ; so many insightful and right on the point remarks from all of you on so many subjects ! Makes me feel so much more hopeful for my granddaughters future (says that 74 YO grandma)

Fly-on-the-wall view
As a late tail-end GenX mom of two tail-end Gen Z daughters, I’m captivated. Having a front-row seat to this group (especially males, after this election) is intriguing. And it is kind of fun to hear Tim as an elder statesman.
mkdbos
Sometimes painful
Not particularly nuanced, this seems to sometime veer into rant-y everyone who disagrees with me is terrible. Also echo those who don’t care about Kasky’s particular brand of self-centeredness or twink story hour. (Did you date? No one cares.) I do listen for the occasional insight into Gen Z and some aggregate peer reflections, but bringing on giggly kids who have opinions without context (or really, curiosity) can be a bit grating. This is an appetizer to the real meat that is The Focus Group.

Not up to Bulwark quality of centrism
Shouldn’t there be a Gen Z on this show who isn’t a stereotypical progressive? Where’s a moderate voice or one tilting right - someone actually representative of a huge portion of Gen Z around the world? And what about a woman??? My Gen Z girls would never listen to this
MatildaAgain
The more I listen
I wonder why Gen X is never even considered! We are the parents of the kids that are in that sweet spot age of 18-20…. And I can tell you that for what o see, they don’t care about the current state of events….
La Eu 1970
Good insight
The show offers good insight into the thinking of the younger generations. Don’t know where else I would turn to gain such knowledge. I was distressed to hear the criticism of Zelenskyy’s behavior during the televised meeting. It’s complicated, but yielding to the bully results in more of the same or worse.

Great concept
Jesus Tim😬! Love the youngs but not really into your dismissiveness. I’m a boomer and kinda wanted to slap you about your attitude concerning me “r” word. Funny they sounded more adult than you.

Very cool!
This pod was really good!! And you’re right, Tim, gays today have it so much better that we did. I’m 68 and before I came out it was all about hiding it from everyone because there was so much prejudice against us. I have been gay my entire life but was terrified to be found out so I buried it until my mid thirties. Growing up in the church and then Bible college, I felt especially at risk. The last few years when I did come out to some of my college friends, their response was, “yeah I already know”. Duh!! 🤣

Nope. 1. Good reason to let “old people “ live during Covid. They are paying your f!ing bills.
2. Cam try some humble pie.
3.Cam take a f!ing breath. You’re repeating yourself.
4. “ Like “ stop whining.
I work with Gen Z . Most of them women. On point this must be a gender problem.
