I cried openly when I heard the news… it shocked me actually how much it affected me. I have never met Grant, but it is amazing how the podcast format can make you feel like you know someone… the stories that came out over the weekend were so compelling and revealed what an incredible and special human he was. Witty, I can’t imagine the pain you’re struggling with… your tribute statement on here made me cry yet again. You two had a special chemistry and was the first thing I listened to after any big event… it is a sad time for soccer globally…

I am sitting here openly weeping - Cant believe Chris that was the last 8 minutes- a beautiful tribute and an unfathomable void is left in the world. The true measure of a man is in his good deeds and his kindness and the people he helped along the way- Grant's legacy is just that.

To everyone who loved Grant: the world is truly a better place because of Grant Wahl. He brought a countless number of people great joy through his writing and podcasts, which is no trivial matter. I always counted on Grant to provide the best perspectives on all matters USWNT and USMNT. Thank you for sharing him with us and may he rest peacefully.

I never had the privilege of meeting Grant but I’ve followed his writing and commentary for a long time. I started playing soccer when I was six and am a life long fan. When I knew he would be on a radio show or podcast I always wanted to listen because of the quality of his work and his immense knowledge of the game, especially US Soccer. My deepest sympathies to Chris and to Grant’s family. Grant is one of our better angels in this world and gone way too soon.

Obviously far too soon. Rest In Peace, strength to your loved ones, thank you for the laughs and information and being a decent person.

Hello??? It’s GRANT WAHL! If you like futbol (soccer), you don’t need any more than that. Grant knows EVERYBODY, and does *fantastic* interviews. And now that he doesn’t have a corporate boss looking over his shoulder, he can say what he REALLY thinks. ONWARD, indeed!

Grant asks great questions in a very straightforward way. Great job Grant! That said, I can’t stand Chris. He went on some diatribe about how Erling Haaland may not be that good in the prem because expensive transfers don’t always pan out. But it didn’t take a genius to see that Haaland is that guy and he’s playing for a manager who is that guy on a team that is the best in the Prem. Awful soccer take. And now I turn on the pod and he’s talking about how organizations in America are intrinsically anti-worker. Like bro, bad soccer takes were enough but this is a step too far. The Yates report didn’t reveal anything about the evil nature of American business. It revealed something about the nature of HUMANS. There isn’t anything intrinsically wrong with these organizations. It’s the people within those organizations and leading them in some instances that need to be held accountable. The perpetrators should be in jail and those who protected them should be fired forever. Let’s not let bad actors off the hook for the sake of some argument about the nature of American business.

Tuned-in to find out about the latest soccer news and stories. Was very disappointed to hear nothing but left wing talking points justifying the systematic slaughter of babies. Totally bizarre far left propaganda outlet. Avoid.

This show is fantastic. Soccer news segments are concise so it doesn’t take forever to get through. The interviews are great, and most can be binged whenever you have time, rather than always needing to heard immediately or be outdated.

This podcast is such a waste of time! A self-important windbag just talking into the wind.

Grant Wahl used to be a soccer reporter and a pretty good one. Unfortunately, he has struggled to find his niche since leaving Sports Illustrated and seems to think that lecturing people morally is his privilege. Not a good listen.

Good interview with Stu. However, I’m not sure who was having microphone issues but it was so annoying I almost turned it off.

I have been listening to Grant Wahl for many years now and following his written material, and I just have to say we are very lucky to have someone who is not only passionate about soccer but is also very knowledgeable about it writing articles and producing a quality podcast. Though there are some good soccer podcasts popping up nowadays, this is still la crème de la crème. There’s a reason why Landon Donovan is on his show. Wahl and his team cover exciting topics that interest the American soccer community, such as his latest podcast that broaches sensitive topics such as the dearth of minority coaches in the MLS and equal pay for both the men’s and women’s national teams. His guests are important people we want to hear about and learn about their perspectives. That only happens thanks to his years of experience and connections that we get to enjoy. I highly recommend this podcast and wish Grant the best of luck with all his endeavors.

This podcast has very high profile guests, but don’t be fooled. The interviews are bland and stale. The questions are predictable. There are so many good options, don’t waste your podcast time. Just bad still.

Grant facilitates excellent conversations. Witty is a fancy lad, very thorough. Landon is a star. Great insight, direct comments. The partnership is strong. Getting better every episode. Can’t wait for the next one.

I was so happy to discover this pod. Focuses on the USMNT (but isn’t exclusively that) while still being aware of and knowledgeable about the global game. Really smart commentary, probes great questions, and doesn’t miss big issues, like the mess at the NWSL. Highly recommended.

USMNT post game recaps with Donovan and Chris Wittingham are excellent. Great insightful analysis mixed with fandom. Seems Grant Wahl does not know nothing!
