Many of us have associated Faith as a feeling. While Faith can affect how we feel but faith itself is not a feeling. Faith is a choice and an action. Faith is “confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”.  While in Los Angeles, CA for GenZ4Jesus gathered hundreds and thousands, day after day in his presence. Even in rooms full of faith, I wasn’t really feeling it (if I am being honest). For days I fasted, I begged and pleaded God to come, to meet me and to speak to me. I wanted to feel him, while my feelings weren’t speaking to his proximity. His word does, it says “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you.” Meaning he is always there even when you don’t feel him or see him.  I have been learning what it means to crucify the idol of feelings. God has stripped me of my need to always feel it in order to have faith. To learn to chase after God even when we don’t see him or feel him. Can we be people who continue to choose him, and behold him even when we don’t see it or feel it. Let’s be a Generation marked by faith and not feelings.  The truth is looking back I totally was feeling, seeing and hearing God. But in this past season intimacy with him had become so normal it’s began feeling mundane. Although the way I cry every time I lock eyes with him or the way I weep on behalf of others as I can’t help but love so deeply isn’t normal despite the fact it has begun to feel mundane.  So join me in laying down the pursuit of feelings and beginning the pursuit of deeper intimacy with him and his heart. This is part of the journey to full tome faith.

WELCOME TO THE FIRST EPISODE OF THE FULL-TIME FAITH PODCAST.  This has been something on my heart and in the works for two years, I have come to the conclusion that it's never going to feel like the perfect timing so we're stepping out in faith to make this happen!
