
At only 21 years of age Matt Eskandari’s short film “The Taken” won the award for Best Student Film at the renowned horror film festival "Screamfest". This caught the attention of Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett who casted Matt for the 2007 reality filmmaker competition series "On The Lot". He eventually directed the independent hit "12 Feet Deep" which led him to work on three movies starring Bruce Willis, two of which were released in 2020.
