Let's talk about Sex! The biggest aspect of restricted sexuality is this intense fear that if we make one mistake, one false move, then the Lord will turn His back on us. So we live in this strict denial and shame of the way that God created us. We don’t want to acknowledge our sexuality because of a fear that once we do, the desire will be too strong and then we will be a disappointment to God. This fear is real, but it’s not true. It’s also rooted in a lie from Satan, one that makes us believe that our God is a dictator who won’t love us unless we live like tiny robots. Thankfully that is not who God is. Submission to His will for your sexuality means you have the freedom to give your sexuality to Him. He won’t force you. You freely submit yourself to Him out of faith and love, not fear, trusting that He has a better plan for you. You don’t live by restriction in order to avoid wrath, you live in submission in order to receive Him. We hope this encourages you and you're able to share it and encourage others.
